...............He said, "I would LOVE to have you teach them guitar"...

There is a man who understands the beauty of creativity. I used to think my greatest asset was my focus on science (i come from a physics background and spent 15years in the oil and gas industry as a drilling engineer. One of my regrets, now, was poo-pooing creative hobbies...like music. Ken Robinson is right.

Imho, no two children should be educated the same and all should be economically literate. Sadly, today's world is the exact opposite. The politicians and banksters have free reign in a world where creativity and economic literacy are deliberately stifled. Have fun with the kids!

Not one to let something go until it is completely worn out, I am still on a mission to study value and the various responses. I have changed colors and settings so many times, not looking for a system, but seeing it differently.

I was recently asked to take an urgent care apart and put it back together, but never close the doors. I did maybe 15 overlays of current versus proposed floorplans, color-coded them, made some solid, others transparent, kept flipping back and forth, until I finally found where the conflicts were. I then emailed the architect that if he moved 3 things, it was doable.

That is the point of the chart above. Not that I will ever use it even, but I might. What it does is allows some visual absorbtion for me of what is happening and where. There is no doubt I have learned a lot obout VWAP and VAH/L this weekend, even though I could not explain it well, mostly because it has so many variables. But when looking with an open mind and just trying to understand "value", trade location has been drilled into my subconscious from all the hours of homework.

Not forecasting anything, the trendline is just as likely to hold as to break. Just looking at potential structure in place if it does break.

By KARIN LAUB and JOSEF FEDERMAN Associated Press
BEIRUT May 5, 2013 (AP)

"Israel rushed to beef up its rocket defenses on its northern border Sunday to shield against possible retaliation after carrying out two airstrikes in Syria over 48 hours — an unprecedented escalation of Israeli involvement in the Syrian civil war.

Syria and its patron Iran hinted at possible retribution, though the rhetoric in official statements appeared relatively muted."

When considering oil reserves, while Syria is not a major player, Iran is.

But, looking at the most recent similar event;

By ANNE BARNARD, MICHAEL R. GORDON and JODI RUDOREN - New York Times

"In late January, Israel carried out a similar airstrike in Syria, which it also refused to publicly confirm, that used similar tactics, including a route over Lebanon, according to a former senior American official. "

@GaryD

There is a peak in CL which a little further out than your chart is showing. This creates a secondary trend line. If it gets there in the next few weeks the resistance of the upper trend line would be between 103 and 104.

In order to get there it has to get through this resistance area (green box) and break above 102. If it is news driven then I think it will cut through this area like a hot knife on butter otherwise could be choppy road, IMO.

If I did not "know better" I would have bought right at 6pm. The potential of Iran getting in the mix should send crude on a wild ride. But I have a very hard time reading these types of moves and was going to wait a couple minutes. never looked back...

I am not really trying to find resistance above the current trendlines. On a larger scale, CL may have just completed an intermediate ABC pattern, inside a major ABC, at around 86.00 If The B leg breaks, which is around 98.10 on the intermediate, and 99.60 on the major, and if this is W3 on the intermediate time frame, crude could be on the loose.

What has me really questioning this move has 3 parts.

1) Crude will need to break out of this long term channel in red

2) When Israel supposedly struck Syrian recently in January it had virtually zero upward push.

3) Price ran up to the value areas of the prior bracket in this area

I was commenting to a trader this morning that I might buy the ETH open tonight, but after I reviewed the January reaction I was not sure, and it did not give much time to think about it. Now I am not sure about going long, and would not short this for anything.

Hopefully some good structure will form overnight.
