How has my mentality changed over the last couple of months? I have an edge. This is apparent from my trading results. But when I try to figure out what it is I cannot place my finger on it. I am following rules that work. I believe in my trades. I don't hang around losing trades. Is it that simple?? Is it because I know what I am looking for? Is it the setups? Most of the trades I have been entering are positive trades at some point in the trade. Why can I do it now but could not do it before? What makes a trader a winning trader vs a losing trader? Is it confidence? Every trade I enter I believe I am going to win. This is a huge shift from 6 months ago.

Or is it more physiological. Thinking like a winner. Not being afraid of the unknown. Hanging around winners like Vance (@VinceVirgil), @PandaWarrior and @mfbreakout. Never afraid to learn or be wrong. Knowing in the grand scheme of things I know very little. Seizing opportunity as it is given to me no matter the perceived risk. Is it because I want this more than anything I ever professionally done in my life?

I suppose it some combination of the above. I understand now why it is so hard to train a new trader and make them successful. There are so many variables which go into a traders make up that any combination of them can turn a winning trader into a losing trader. Knowing yourself is the first step. This much I am sure of. It wasn't until I was honest with myself and admitted I had faults and admitted that I knew nothing and accepted what was right in front of me on my screen that I started being successful.
