Hi,

I started this journal for show my trading style to others. I'm and orderflow trader and i have been using this tecnique for several years. I'm learning every day and i think that show to others my style it can help and helping others will help myself. I'm only a trader surviving in this wilderness.

I apologize if i make some mistakes, but i'm from spain and often don't wirte in English.

Every day i'm looking to find where are the controls in the market. i'm looking for buyer control, or seller control. For locate this zones, i use ofav6 that plot this areas for me.
I use this areas for my entries zones and my stop is over 4-6 ticks. I find my targets looking at the oposite control. If i'm long i look for a seller control and i stablish my target in this area.

I will post my analisys for the day and what I'm thinking about it. I will began for this friday and my analysis from it.

My analisis for today.

The three lines that you can see are the previous high, low and close.
CV: seller control
CC: buyer control
AV: value area
RS: responsive sellers
I like specially the zones where two oposites controls find the same prices. I called it pivot zone, and i used it for enter at market.
This friday was and excellent day for show that.
I made three trades. Two winners and one in brake even. I attached and screenshoot with my analisys and entries.

My analisis for today

CN: neutral control

3 trades, 2 losers and 1 winner
result day: positive

I was finding a reversal in the low of friday. the last trade and winner was in the low of the day. a buyer control was establish. The problem was the hard zone up to this area, with a seller control and neutral (pivot zone)
The reason for take this trade was a buyer control, divergence of volume and a low volume area in the bid size from 1399 to 1402.
This winner trade was take it quickly without waiting to confirm de buyer control. This was a mistake. The problem to do that is that my entrie was a bad prices. if i wait i take better prices. i put my stop with 8 tics. Abnormal stop.
In the future i need to avoid this kind of entries without confirmation
Finally they run in the long direction. I'm out of the trade in 1402.25 sellers controls

Today, i made my first trade. Retest the accepted prices of yesterday, i try a long in 1401.75 but don't filled.
Before with a formation of pivot zone i try long again in 1404.5 and filled. First target out, and waiting. Now we are in the high of yesteray and the prices react at this zone.

My first operation was positive. I made 3 more. The first one was in the low in 1401.75 but i leave it and go out with 1 tick. But finally was a good trade. I miss it and my emotions was the problem. i was in a buyer control and in yesterday acceptance zone.
I try the second one in 1405.50 but my stop in 1406.75 with only 17 contracts was touched. The tird one was positive and the best for the day. I attached a photo with my entrie and targets done.

Hi,

Today we open above yesterday range. Fast move in the opening. I take a long with 2 contracts. The reason 2 neutral controls in the same prices, and volume stairs. The first target reach and the second two.
Good entrie and good result.
Below this double neutral control was and option for shorting the move, but above was for taking a long entrie.

I'm done for the day. I attached the screenshots of my analisis and entrie

Hello Daytraderprofessional,

I hope you do not mind me asking. Could you please explain your trading method in more details? For example based on what your zones are created? Do you derive them from value area or are there any other parameters?

Also, do you look for confirmation directly in the order flow (like bid/ask ladder or cummulative delta)?

Thanks a lot and happy trading.
Hana

Josué, excuse me for unmask a snout like you. I will continue doing there where you write in order to any colleagues know what you are. Always it´s the same, you will show us a little part or nothing of your trading and then you will try to sell us a short course. what are you selling us now ? And neglect, that does not interest me in the least its tradingl. Thanks were seen to try again after spending some time quietly. Thes best option for all it´s that you have to write on vendor´s thread, I only say this, it would be better for all. Don´t confuse to the futures.io (formerly BMT) members. Now if you show and teach your trading method then I haven´t anything to say and you are welcome but I have the doubt

DAYTRADERPROFESIONAL,

Are you a vendor? Do you have anything for sale? You have not disclosed yourself as a vendor, and vendors are not allowed to promote their product or services in posts. Vendors are not allowed to have daily analysis threads or journals.

Bigmike and everybody,

I'M NOT A VENDOR. I can say that more higher, but not more clear. The only thing that i want is give what i receive here, help. For sure, this will become a help for me, because here there are traders with more experience. This is a trading journal keeping my analysis every day and my entries, for sure open to learning every day. If this helps for someone, wellcome.

In a few days i will attach a document showing how you can locate the areas that i use for trading, using the gomvolumeladder.

Thank's

Hi,

I have been attached some photos showing how you can locate the areas where a control is established, by buyers or sellers. The period that I recomended to use is 15 min bar or 30 min. But it's possible to use another time frame, or bar's type.

Hi,

My analysis for today. The best oportunity was in the opening, when they create a pivot zone. After the news, they continuos to sell. Two entries today, the first one short, in the pivot zone. The problem was that i take it below the seller control, and i need to wait that prices arrive to the zone. Afther the news and with a big seller control (not really seller control, only volume stoping price before news) i take this entrie in prices with only 13 contracts waiting that more orders full this prices. This was the mistake and my bad entrie. Volume in news is not a directional volume, only stoping volume. The other one was a mistake. Closing my position ninja re opens another. Don't count.

thanks

Hi,

Today we open without gap and they were ranging the first hour. One profesional control was established in 1410 and a pivot zone above it. The best entrie was in the seller control near to 1410 but I made my first trade in the pivot zone. I like this areas because give a high probability entrie. i left out my fisrt trade, when another profesional control was established in the low. i take a long knowing my limitation near to the seller control. My initial target was in the pivot zone, but i take all my profit in the seller control. Today is Friday and good time for relax

Hi,

We start today with a gap up. In the opening i locate first one seller control. i take a short in 1413 near the first control. Then another control was establish and it's a good sign that the way is down at this moment. I'm out with my first target and waiting till my objective in 1407.25. Out with my stop hit for my second target.

Updated controls at this moment. Waiting for my second target. At this moment no buyer control is in action. Only sellers control.
Out in my second target at 1409.50

You might want to check out the vvScreenShot indicator for NinjaTrader, one-click uploading of screenshots to futures.io (formerly BMT).

Select the bmcharts.com upload option, and use the bbcode option.

This is my last entrie for today. The entrie at 1404.50 doesn't fill in primary instance and then i didn't take it. My last entrie is in 1402.25. My first target was reached at 1404.5 and know waiting for the second target.
i entrie in the retest of the buyer control formed before at 1401.75. My first limitation is the seller control and the day, that is clearly bearish. Now i'm a free risk i will wait. My objective is 1406.5 near of some stops and a seller control.

Out of my second target at 1405.50 and done for the day.

Today we open with a gap up. My first trade today was a short in 1412.5. In the opening the market establish a buyer control. But in the area of 1413 yesterday we saw a seller activity. I take a short in this area knowing my first limitation, the buyer control in 1411.25. Out with a loss, -2 ticks, because i see that they respect de buyer control. The best entrie was in the buyer control. I miss this because i was in the short. Bad entrie because was against the moment and the control. Now I need to wait for another oportunity. Good advice for never going against the controls. I made this bad trade using feelings no facts and i pay for it.

This is how the markets looks like at his moment. I don't see a new oportunity.

This is my second entrie for today. Seller control in the high of the day, at this moment. Retest of that control and accepted. Short with my first objective in the buyer control in 1418.75. The second objective waiting the reacctions in the market.

Out of my first target. Waiting for the second one. The zone of 1418.75 wit the buyer control is a hard zone. It's an area to look carefully. My objective is in 1415 because in 1414.5 there are only 46 contracts. In 1414.25 only 5 and in 1414 only 155. Someone calle that unfinished bussiness. First it's necesary to broke the buyer control in the area of 1418.75. Now i'm with free risk, and the market will say.

Out of my second target with 1 point of profit. The area in 1418.75 is a good support and sell absorption is stopping the price in that area. With the clear bullish day i don't wait more. i'm done for the day and week. Tomorrow i will don't trade.

Good weekend everybody

Today, we open without a gap. And the open was choppy. First buyer control in the lows till now, and now in the highs the market established another control, this was a seller control. I'm long in the area of 1405.75. The reason is a sell absortion and buyer control near. The day is balanced day till now and waiting to test the highs.

First target out. Waiting to look what the market wants, the next target that i have is near a resistance in 1414.25. Now i'm a free risk, but the zone of the seller control it will be hard. Today is a balanced day and i don't have so much expectatives to reach my second target, but never knows.

OK, I'm out in the highs of today, till now. Balanced day and with a 8 points range, 4,5 is a good setup. I'm done for the day. Today the best trade was in the absorption zone, like thursday. Two days with the same setup and good risk/reward. Tomorrow more.

Good morning,

The open today was with a gap up and out of yesterday's range. This is a bullish. In the opening the market establish a buyer control, but with a high concentration of volume in the top. Then goes to retest this area. Area confirmed by a second buyer control. And with sell absortion in this area i take my first trade. Long in 1418.25. I know my first limitation is 1420 areas, where we have so much volume, but i wait for a brake of this area. The market will say it.

I'm out of my first target and waiting for the second one

New controls

I'm out in 1427.25 and done for the day

I missed this one completely.

Come on DTP - let's 'ave some more from you. I know you are still doing the screen grabs.

How about sharing some of those footprint analysis charts too?
