Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

The attached has KVO in it? I'm just seeing this now is that the Wiz's KVO? Thanks man. I did not even get to the PAS Pro at all today. There is so much going on.

Dan

it doesn't matter what kind of kvo indicator is implemented in the pas pro. the values are (should) be the same. btw you don't even need (of course you can) to load the kvo indicator. as long as you have the kvo in your indicator list, the pas pro can access it:

@Silvester17

I am trying to copy from notepad to an indicator, compile, save as...I guess I need more help.

you just need to copy that cs file in:

- documents > ninjatrader 7 > bin > custom > indicator. then a window should pop up. click replace. then open any indicator and compile (f5).

the divergence part of the indicator working. Now to see if it is valuable/productive for my hallucination.. I still have that namespace compile issue if anyone can coach me through fixing that. Thanks everyone. Time to read that Price Action Swing discussion thread in detail.

Dan

good idea to read that thread. I also tried to answer your question:

AAPL...

$74 on April 24 $94 this week....up 27% from the numba and paying a 2.5% yeild...just saying.

I don't really know you but I would not get too excited about that AAPL stock

Here is their latest financial announcement

here is the income statement from that report

the thing that strikes me that a whole year has past and Apple's revenues barely are better than the previous year....a year when those numbers were terrible and caused a decline in their share price

I suppose some of the good numbers are a breath of relief that their numbers were higher but I doubt this will result in a boost to their share price.

this chart shows the share price locked in a small ichimoku green cloud...it does not look bullish to me.

I know you are not focused on Apple and your remark was probably just a casual one as you surfed those news items...Ibut I thought I would offer my 2 cents....hope you don't mind.

Yep...you were right and I was wrong...though I still like Samsung overall for its diversity and innovation. But as I said you were correct.

How we think

Cognitive Biases - Business Insider

i read the article , it likes me a lot, and it touch a lot of things of "how we think" or think fast think slow.

And with this kind of mind ,it is easy to realize how difficult is to take correct decisions.

After finishing the book, i can see, that the key is: before to take the decision, watch myself, inside, and see how and why I do that.
Recognize the natural tendency, and try to think about that, and after that , make the decision.
I have tried a couple of trades, and check what happen to me , when i hold a winner, and why i want to exit, and what happen with mi mind , my process , when i hold a winner.
i have a fight inside of my mind, with different voices, and the key is to understand the meaning of that.
the mixing of reasoning (cold ans slow)and the emotions (hot and fast)working togueter.
And of course if I can not manage the understanding of that mixing, i can not make good trading decisions

La lucha es de igual a igual contra uno mismo
The fight is fair against oneself

Denomination effect
People are less likely to spend large bills than their equivalent value in small bills or coins.

I usually ask for big bills, in clean paper format, not always the newest bills printed, for this reason, until one day, in China Town, at a bank, the teller told me that the Chinese (in the community) have that same habit, because you're not likely to part with them so easily as small bills.

wow, surprising to see this among the list

Same with cash in general, you are less likely to spend cash out of your wallet then you are to swipe a card. You notice it leave your wallet quicker then your bank account.
