Hey Guys...

Thank you @Silvester17 for posting that response with inid rec. I have always done divergence recognition manually as I believe being trained through experience is valuable, however, I will also check out what you shared.

@Sk8ter yeah man there is a pretty strong confluence sometimes and that volume oscillator is non-colinear so when those stars line up I feel pretty good to....keep in mind, very sensitive.

I do not have...

Price Action Swing Pro

but I'd love to see your discoveries in an application with anaKVO. Please post if you care to.

it's pretty simple to add an indicator to the pas pro for a divergence signal. here's how you do it:

but since there's a new version of pas, I would wait for that version before implementing the kvo:

This is important to note...

and speaks to discretion, imo. Some conditions are better or more suited to specific observations.

@Silvester17 @dorschden

I'm going to try this now. Have to admit, overwhelmed by the PASpro. I do believe that past the divergence item referenced above, that I'd love to learn the features of this one...seems robust.

Since both learning PASpro and trying to figure the code additions are WAY over my head...where would you recommend that I post my attempts and requests for help?

the attached version of pas pro has the anaKVO indicator included.

in the indicator window, look for the following:

01.Features:

- 11.divergence indicator = custom (custom = anaKVO)
- 13.divergence parameter1 = fast ema period (default = 34)
- 14.divergence parameter2 = signal period (default = 13)
- 15.divergence parameter3 = slow ema period (default = 55)

Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

also just in case. you can select to show only hidden, regular or both divergences.

05.divergence visualization:

- 01.show regular divergence
- 02.show hidden divergence

and as an added bonus:

regular Divergence:

- price is making higher highs while the indicator is not

- price is making lower lows while the indicator is not

hidden Divergence:

- indicator is making higher highs while price is not

- indicator is making lower lows while the price is not

This will be very difficult for me. Trial and error, emphasis on the error. I'd like to add the code from @TheWizard s version of the KVO. I am looking for divergence with the "KO" line versus price from that indicator as a first priority.

After that I'd love to see an application setting for RSqueeze and the adaptive CCI.

I will link all of these here...I hope...in the event that anyone following along has the desire and the ability.

Okay I have...

the divergence part of the indicator working. Now to see if it is valuable/productive for my hallucination.. I still have that namespace compile issue if anyone can coach me through fixing that. Thanks everyone. Time to read that Price Action Swing discussion thread in detail.
