Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Okay the long side did trigger there, BUT was over ridden by my view of the fundamental and R/R.
Now as the short sets up consistent with my view...we will see if having a view is wise or foolish...way better than hunting up my wing tips and cuff links though.

Looks like..

Mike and I have different views based on his Euro 6E eurusd thread post just a minute ago. More than fundamental I think rest of day this is comment driven. Looking back at significant s/r levels now.

We can both 'win', depending on stops and targets

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Pretty sure we...

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

both will. Thanks for stopping by Mike.

Going to say that a fail here on the short side will erase my bias. I try to be empty when it comes to opinion but as I watch opinion develops. It is good to reset the bias meter, and great if you can do it with out paying..as is the case so far.

So now that the 200 period is part of the confluence, if the short does not confirm here I will take either side on method with slightly reduced primary targets.

Sold small!

Okay...

1.2655 small. Interesting how confirmation bias lets us move quickly one way but slows us down the other way...lets see how it plays out. Risk 1.2662 first target 1.2645.

Yup a lack of support here doesn't bode well for my 2700-2750 initial targets.
