Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Times like this...

are how I get in trouble. I could argue either way so I am going to accept no way as way until I have something that I think I can bank. Nothing or missing a trade is far better than the twist.

Okay...

less than 20 tick range last three hours. I'm seeing conflicting analysis of dollar index and euro...some calling for a medium to long term bullish view on the dollar index (euro lower). Other venues calling for continued euro strength.

Sorry to disappoint but the wldman would rather keep the money he has than guess direction in a tight range.

If I was forced to pick a side here I'd sell below 1.3820 targeting new lows at 1.3780, risk 1.3826.

I do not take shots so I am not going to do that...but I will post a SIM trade chart to be on the record with a view.

SIM SIM SIM...not real not real not real...do not copy unless you think the risk reward here is worth it I do not.

So

with targets and risk in.

SIM trade log...not real, rather speculation based on if I had to, was forced to pick long or short.

$300, would that be enough to make me/you want to bail? Killing winners small is a losers game.

I'd love to sell more and press the position till the current stop is position break even, then if I had to move the stop to the Y-VAL at .3791

A good SIM trader would still be short and still be pressing the shit out of that trade! There is NO WAY that a sane person would try to give a live run down of an open real trade. SO if there is one happy thing to feel good about when missing a trade...that would be calling it out all day in a progression that everyone can see.

Damn it!
