Modified Rsqueeze...

most recent iteration posted by @trendwaves discussed in this thread.

https://futures.io/ninjatrader/20840-how-does-rsqueeze-work-7.html

Indicator that does NOT include wldman language adding a multiplier is available here:

https://futures.io/download/ninjatrader-7/indicators/1469-download.html?view

This one has been @Zondor ed and improved to utilize the anaGaussianFilter created by @Fat Tails.

Happy to share my verison with the multiplier language...that allows the overlay on a shared "zero line" with the next indicator...if someone will tell me how to share it.

.

Now @Big Mike I have the original Paint Bar Factory users manual for their version of this. Though materially different, no doubt their work was my genesis for the modified version I use today. Is that something that I can share publicly in the forum?

Dan

No worries...

Hey @wldman, don't worry about the result of the 'small final'...

Well, IMO the US boys have had their gold medal match before, it's been a conceivable tight match and so they obviously decided to not put too much effort / pay that much attention (in)to today's game.

...But unlike most of the European teams, it looks like a bronze medal seems to be completely worthless when it comes to Hockey...

So...what kind of help may I offer...?

BTW, I really enjoyed watching the Blackhawks playing at Düsseldorfer EG in Germany many years ago...

"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much." - Jim Rohn

I'll try to attach file...

someone please let me know if that comes through in a usable format. This might be a good thread to begin to assimilate how the thing works. I'd say pay special attention to posts from Fat Tails.

The histo is a series of four pairs of gaussian filters, now using the anaGaussianFilter.

Just wanting to understand why your using a multiplier ? To get to a nice big round number like 400 , instead of a fraction like 0.04 ?

Also, the @Zondor inspired performance improvements are in the newer version 2 of the indicator, which your modified version posted above does not include.

Because..

Futures Edge on FIO
@trendwaves

I overlay another item on panel two. The multiplier allows theoretical sync of the zeros.

it looks like this:

If you are using the "squeeze" indicator what is your typical view or application?

I'm pretty sure..

that my version has been Zondored. Did you crack it open and take a look? I copied the v2 and renamed it, then added my multiplier language.

@trendwaves

Is this not the Zondor inspired efficiency improvements you made?

I wanted to...

at least give a basic description of the elements of the "squeeze" indicator and how I use it before I throw that adaptive cci on top of it. Looking at it, a person could probably trade it with just those few elements. Dan

Yes I looked at the code before posting my reply above.

There is a newer version 2 (with additional significant performance improvements) you should download and make your multiplier mod's to. I recommend you replace the file above with the new one once your ready.

Hey Man...

@trendwaves

I swear I took the code from that exact window. I do not see the sub using Harry's "squeeze" language in my version either.

Please check to be sure the version you are directing me to has all that you believe it has as far as efficiency and modification. They look like they are exactly the same to me.

Thanks for pointing that out I will try to make the multiplier modification to the newest V. you reference.
I'm not a code guy so this is a big find and maybe a nightmare to change but I appreciate the catch.

Dan

Okay...

@trendwaves

I have the new V2 and I do see the further modification to include anasqueeze. Is there also increased efficiency in this version that warrants another try at adding the multiplier language?

Dan
