Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Feeling like this...

is counter trend. Planning escape if momentum turns. Weak, I know. Wish this was 10 M6E rather than 1 6E.

sold 53's...I guess if the bottom 20% of trades include some little winners I will have nothing to complain about.

Nice...

I sell it out and then nice bids show up. Does anyone have a pic of a giant chicken that I could use for my profile?

So...

Futures Edge on FIO

Which time slot for our live webinar events works best for you?

Yesterdays close seems like an area of res here 1.3056 with the low of that session 1.3051. Bid side momentum seems muted. Calling the ST trend down and operating my risk reward from that perspective now.

Missed selling 50's...

to make oatmeal. Hope this does not turn out to be breakfast at Tiffany's.

Stealing long side against trend....

spend 20 min talking about ST trend bias down and anemic bid momentum. Post charts to illustrate. No oatmeal, no breakfast at all, even a plate of bacon, is worth 15 big ticks 6E.

@Big Mike ,maybe I need a new indicator or a better setting....because screwing stuff up can never be the responsibility of the trader, right?

So if I..

think about the auction bar and the reversal bar in the context of decreasing short momentum. @Fat Tails based on your application, how might I treat this:

Exit of profitable short around the confluence, potential reversal long, or I'm nuts, nothing indicated here?

Of course, all other opinions welcome as well.
