Hi @Vikings1, it was beneficial to read your trading journal and your unselfishness in sharing, showing and discussing your trades is to be cherished. Please keep posting at least one chart highlighting the entries , I am sure many quiet aspiring traders as myself are learning and picking up thinks looking at them and reinforcing in the same time the belief that a rules based system works and will help you succeed if you apply them every time you get the signal.....I remember Todd Brown saying about an ROE (Rules Of Engagement) System:"It's the signal, it's the signal, it's the signal"
Thank you and hope seeing you here again!

Thank you for the fine comments. I'll think about it, but I doubt I will be back. I did a test recently where I gave 12 people all my set-ups for free. Only (1/3) are using them and they are doing VERY well, the other (2/3) I guess are still looking for the "Magic 8-Ball". So you can't even please people when you GIVE them something for FREE!!! Really Amazing!
Take care Faux....

Hi @Vikings1, this was a great test you've done! And that 1/3 (4) of people you helped if they will be willing to do the same as you've done (great hearts to share and spread the good) will make each of them another 1/3 (4) of people happy, in total 16 and so on.......
And if you take another group of 12.......you get my point, you will make tons of people happy......and you will be the One who started that pyramid.........as Mike is the head of this excellent forum and made a lot of people happy and gave a lot of them (speaking for myself first ) a way to went and heal their frustration on the difficult path to find a strategy or idea who they can apply to their own personality.........
In that regard, my guess is that the other 2/3 (8) people are grateful to you for sharing your system with them, but their own personality did not match the system and they could not pass the psychological barrier of trusting the signals and taking action.........so they have to search to find the system that will match them.....and this is a long journey.......some of us will give up and find another path in life than becoming a trader......some will succeed and will always have you in their heart for being unselfish and helping them out.....
I wanted to thank you again for this great journal you started as many aspiring traders will find nuggets of inspiration and learn something out of it........and wish you luck !

Well, Vikings1, this is pretty interesting. I've read through most of this thread and I'm going to give it a try using my own intra-day trade indicators (if you don't mind). Thanks again. I will let you know how it worked out for me.

On Wednesday, October 10th @ 4:30 PM Eastern US, Carley Garner will be presenting a webinar on futures.io (formerly BMT) which covers Options Trading (specifically Futures, but it will be a broad overview). I've asked Carley to put together a multi-part webinar, so this is Part 1 and will just be "Basics - 101".
Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.
Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers. 6) Help using the forum? Watch this video to learn general tips on using the site.

You showed people just another of the myriad ways that trading can be approached. I'm not using the things you specifically taught/showed, but I can tell you that you opened my eyes to a variety of things and ways of thinking that has been an important part of my growth as a trader.
What you shared, regardless of what you may have seen in actual responses and the following of your method, is priceless, and has benefited me as I'm sure it has others.
Thank you for sharing here.
