Monday, the 3rd trading day after my near account collapse. I so don't want to write about this in the public eye, but the complete accountability for my actions is needed or i'm not going to survive in this business long term.
I have watched the TF-Russell Sunday into Monday. And overall 4 long and 1 short clean entries, i did have and did not take them.
It seems that i have left my guts somewhere along the lines of "well, what if i'm wrong?" pathways.
Ironically, was kicking myself in the head each of the 5 times since the market did end up moving in that direction to meet the $50 target.
And here i thought that i did have a solid strategy for the week, take the $50 per day out of the market. I'm making this more complicated then it truly is.
I can't tell what i have learned out of this ordeal yet, since this is the 3rd trading day that i'm paralyzed in taking action. A different approach perhaps ?
My Rithmic Pro trading platform has no practice SIM account, for which i am truly happy about. Since it would just make things worse!! I'd definitely be stuck in the SIM trading land indefinitely.
On the bright side, my Monday story of non-non-trading made my mentor laugh. Especially since we had a pep talk before the US market opened, about the opening range and the upcoming possibilities.
Too bad that i just didn't listen, as he have said that i wouldn't. I am not as brave as i thought i was.

Tuesday, the 4th day of no trading, i watched the webinars by Jeanette Sims on trading the TF-Russell,
and ended up observing the TF and taking notes as suggested in her webinar. And have also practiced using the 30min charts to find the hidden intraday opportunities. It definitely gave me the boost of confidence. And I also read a book on the market by W.D. Gann. Overall it was a productive Tuesday, however i'm still upset that i'm such a cowardly mess in terms of pulling the trigger. The power of being directly responsible for your actions.
Why aren't we learning this in our elementary schools ?
As much as i'm knocking my head against the wall everyday, i'm that much more passionate to keep learning more about myself and this business!
I made a trip to see my mentor. It's quite something to be able to see a professional trader, trade!!
What did i learn ? What am i learning ?
To leave my emotions out of my trading!! It is the most imperative rule in his trading book!!
How ?? Is the question! Easier said then done.
By listening the market and patiently waiting for the set up to occur, is his answer!
I have funded $100 into my account to slightly increase my margin of mistake.
It is quite something to write a public trading journal about your failings.
Feeling quite miserable, but this is afterall the journey of a determinately hopeful professional futures trader.
Three trades. The stop limit was a bit too tight each time! Made enough to cover the costs.
I was feeling quite fidgety each time i pulled the trigger. Guess this is the process of moving through the garbage in my mind. And eliminating the garbage on my mind.
Friday-Friday, completely distracted!! Note to myself, NO DISTRACTIONS!! of any kind!!!
Trading time is for trading, not running errands!!! One trade, stoped out due to my negligence!
