When did you switch the UniRenko to T1R12O6 ?

Looks pretty good like that. Have you found it easier to read?

Hi @spideysteve

Yes i have found this setting a lot easier to trade and takes away a lot of noise.

I am working on the levels and here are the levels that i used yesterday and has some nice attractions towards them.

Are these levels supplied by KongZana? They seem to work quite well!

got to my 51.11 level with ease.

and market dropped from 51.12 nicely to 50.98 and next level is 50.95 ....

we should see 51.50 tonight if not tomorrow ... as CL is certainly going up...but the BIG Fishes will try to bring it down to take all those stops with their deep deep pockets. ..

Sometimes greediness works in your favor but is a very bad trait of mine.
Tonight it worked as i walked away few times to make a cup of tea

Perfect entry short was 51.62 but i was out....

Target was for 50.65 but will take it as its been a good pay day...

Greediness came into play with my second trade where i gave away over 850.00 in profit and took a lesser amount.

Second trade was very good but put the tight stop and got stopped at 6 ticks in profit only for the market to go back to my original profit target.

Need to go back to daily targets and take the profit and wait for the retracement ...

Hey @sharmas,

Good to see that you started your own "journal" of sorts.

I wanted to point you towards a link that I feel may help you and others:

I am sure you are familiar with this, but go through the thread and really open your mind. It seems that in your screenshots you highlight all the areas that the lines would have worked and never the areas that they did not.

Another thing that I noticed is that when you draw 6 lines per 100 ticks, you are bound to have the lines "work".

Are you trading off of these lines? Because it seems that you still use VK's CCI indicator.

Lastly, you do not have to divulge what they are, but in the spirit of futures.io, sharing information is paramount to self-interest; is it not?

I say this because you post these lines everyday and show how they "would" have worked, but you never show us how you make them, how they perform real-time, and if they have any value.

In the spirit of the forum, I hope you see that I am not attacking you, but rather trying to help you benefit the forum as it has benefited you.

Thank you for your time and may your "journal"aid your trading journey!

@rocksolid68

Thank you so much and yes this is work in progress and each week i am working on what worked and what did not work.

I am looking at 70.00 to 80.00% winners off the line but i am not even close to getting it where i want the levels to be or how it should or could work

Once i get the details and projections closer to accuracy, i will share it.

But i dont want to share something to this forum when i am not there yet

Thank you for taking your time and writing on my journal and your feedback and suggestions are always valued and together we can make this forum that much better

Thanking you

Sharmas

The levels got respected and there was potential 2 long trades for over 25 points for each trade...

Not a bad night and CL worked well from level to level.

The levels got respected and there was potential 2 long trades for over 25 points for each trade...

Not a bad night and CL worked well from level to level.

Sharmas

Nice job in calculating the levels. They seem to working out great for you!

What an absolute traders day it was yesterday and looks like next week will be as crazy as Friday

Learnings.
Need to focus on the levels
Let the price come to me rather than chase the price.

Focus on High probability trades

I let myself cut some good trades short even though i had marked the chart of potential profit.

Have more faith in my levels

Will be working on the levels for next week and planning to mark it as the buy and sell line.

Will trade with caution and see what market offers

Have worked on the levels again and have made few minor changes and need to back test and forward test them more.

Lets see how it takes shape.

Yes greediness did play its part again..

Took $ 1850.00 profit.

Will see how the night shapes. Was late by good 15-18 ticks with my entry

Chart # 1 is my first chart with my trade

Chart # 2 with my levels during my trade

Chart # 3 with the levels and how did the market react to these levels.

Are they just random lines....They are from the data and i am okay with it and has given me confidence.

Yes i could have stayed in the trade longer...But yes it could have gone against me

Money on the table is not as good as money in the pocket.

My target was at 48.02 but i am happy with the money

Sharmas

Do i trade and over trade or shall i take a rest and come back tomorrow and see how it all worked out. Also each day is a new day in the market with new opportunities.

@sharmas

What is your original stop on that trade? How many ticks? Or do you base it on your other levels?

Also, are you still using VKs indicator (CCI/MA)?

I use a 15 tick stop loss and my main chart has what you see now.

Going away from all indicators as now focused onprice action and levels.

Here is how the levels played out last night

Had to run to pick kids up from their tuition...

And the market did go up.

Happy with my trade for today.

Had another busy day and a number of missed opportunities.

Had a very good long but took the profit due to commitment.

This is how the levels got respected or how the market reacted to those levels.

I am still missing one vital piece of information and hoping to get that confirmed soon so that my levels could be even more closer to market turns.

All i am looking for is one or two good trades for the day that gives me 20 to 30 ticks per contract.

As i compound my contracts, i would be looking at 20 ticks per trade but more contracts.

Still work in progress

Up at 6.00 am and just got home now at 9.25 pm

Full on day with back to back meetings.

Here is how the levels worked out so far today

Will need a good sleep and might have to miss out tonight ...

Everyday the market offers new opportunities and with the high probability set up anything else is possible.

had been a very slow day due to long weekend.

However the levels played its part.

Lets see what other opportunities present itself tonight.

Have you wondered why the market stops at a certain point and why does the trend changes at a certain point.

How important are the knowledge of institutional buyers mindset. Do you think they sit there and trade a 1 or 2 minute chart...

Do you think they use Support resistance. I know of a very good trader who uses Trend line and levels nothing more.

Wow
I was sweating as for the first time i went in with 9 contracts and will i do this again....May be but may be not when the market has more volume

With such a slow market and also with holidays ...gave me bit of confidence when i saw how the level was respected.

Took long and got paid very well.

great start to the week ...

So glad to have my computer back...

Made it up for not able to trade yesterday.

Target of 47.96 hit nicely with the entry at 47.64 with 6 contracts.

And where did the market go and reverse from next level 48.14 but i am done for the night.

Not focused on what happens to the market now as my job is done and the money is in the bank.

Sharmas

Update
Here is the zone that i am trading off... will relook at the zones tomorrow after the market close .

Had a great night of celebration as its Friday night here....

The market just love to bounce of the levels which was worked out on Wednesday.

Why and how does the market turn around from these levels.

Who knows where these turns are and then why does it go to the next level only to turn back..

Check it out for yourself. All we need is just one or two of this turns on daily basis and you can do very well.

Then you compound your capital...Do the same thing but with more contracts.

And another reason i would have taken both this trades without hesitation .... 78.60%

Low of the day to high of the day..

Waited and took the great trade and then for my second trade had to bail out quickly with a small loss as it was incorrect trade.

Still working on the levels and so far it has given me great confidence and excellent results so far

here is the latest chart and shows the power of the levels and why does the market respect this levels .

All you need one or 2 trades at this levels to make a great day

Set your daily goal and once reached....

you can do two things

Set your stop at that level and let the market give you what's on offer...(Like i did last night)

or you take your daily profit and go and have a great night or day

Level to level price action

Here's how the Price Action took place at the levels so far today

Sharmas

Out of curiosity, why did you take that long? Your line was a fair amount away from your entry. Not only that, but the line was trampled over a few times prior. Why take that long?

Just trying to clarify

Thank you Rocksolid68 for the question

My entries are never to take short or long off the lines. I have couple of secret sauces that helps me with the confirmation as to whether it will be long or short.

I was out most of the day and evening. When i came into my office which is set up as my trading room i saw i missed few great opportunities...So i waited and let the market paint the entry for me.

I am showing a bit of my theory but there is another Rule of engagement that i am not allowed to show as my mentor has asked me not to give away all the secrets away.

Also the secret sauce gave me the top and bottom of CL market pretty early in the piece and before London Open

Need to do more testing with live market as the the secret sauce gives me a very good biais to the market trend

So far i have shared the levels on my chart due to sheer respect to this forum which has given me so much.

Awesome! Thank you for the response. I do not need to know the secret sauce, just wanted to clarify. I am glad you are being very honest.

Just be careful with your wording; you mentioned "in the room" which means you are in a trade room and your "mentor" I presume would be the Head of the room... Lastly, we know which room you are a participant in (or was).

I am not saying you are doing anything wrong, but if you want to keep things secret, be careful with word choice.

All in all, I like what you do on the forum @sharmas and you seem very honest. I shall continue to follow along!

Summer trading has its pros and cons.

Sitting on your hands is not a bad thing to do as preservation of your capital is the number of priority

For you to win a trade someone has to loss it...Best is you look for your highest probability set up and repeat that over and over.

One trade per day and so far both have given me my daily goal

Lets see what the slow summer market delivers today and the rest of the week.

I get to have proper sleeps and dont have to sit and watch the screen for hours and hours

Plan your trades and look for High Probability trades and repeat the process over and over

With such a slow market took the short with the retest of the level and got out at 1745.28

Not a bad day in the office

Hi Sharmas,
do you look at higher time frames for an overall analysis and take the signal on low time frame?
Thanks,

Hi bbsky

I have my 30 min chart for daily levels but my trade setups are on 3 minute chart.

I use my secret sauce on my 3 min chart and my 30 min chart is in the background and i glance it now and then.

I have moved away from Renko and Bars and now fully used to my 3 min chart.

One question .. how do you determine if you will trade long or short off your zones?

Entered short at 45.93 at retest

and took profit at 45.73 of 20 ticks x 10 contracts

Happy with how the short was picked and yes was sweating a bit when the market retraced to 50.00% but having seen this set up over and over, trusted the entry and the trade.

No trade can be 100% but taking High probability trade one should be confident to take them and work it through

Will post a chart later as yesterday it was an excellent bearish day but I am happy with my takings

It's always a challenge to see the market unfold and the greediness comes into it which is wish I stayed longer in the trade or it would have been 5k trade but you just need to set a daily goal and once you hit it you can close the screen and enjoy life

Market is market and it will keep going and you can't sit and think if I did this or I did that

Trade the high probability set up and get to have one or 2 set ups that you see over and over and focus on them

When they show up pull the trigger and repeat the process over and over

All you lookin for is 75 to 80 % success rate and makesure you keep your stops short and profit long

Thanking you for your support and is always greatly appreciated

Hi Mate

Here is the chart from last night's action

Have got one of 3 things that i use as my secret sauce set up ...Cant show anymore than whats on the chart.

As you can see the levels are pretty well respected...

Working on another few things to get the enhanced levels...but somethings will remain with the inventor...

The chart does the talking and the levels are what they are

And this are not Fibs or Algos from another room.

They are worked out on different days of the week and having collated the data from last 3 months,I am seeing a pattern to this market.

On the Journey of discovery and each day i have my daily goal and PLEASE note i am using my journal as part of my own discussion with myself

Somewhere i can look back and understand certain things and see how i have developed my strategies and conduct my business.

I share my charts and show my trades not to be boastful but to show where the entries and the targets were.

Yes many of you have contacted me but i will never be able to share the 'secret sauce" method and as for the levels it will be shown on the chart.

How is it worked out will also be a secret.

Sharmas,

In earlier posts you had said that you would share how you come up with your levels once you refined the process. Are you no longer going to share that? Also, does the "secret sauce" have anything to do with TTT? If you can say.

Yes I did and at this stage this is still work in process and sharing the method or how to generate the levels is fair way away

Will see how things unfold

Did you mean Third Time Touch and in that case answer is no and there is no way I will take the trades from the levels as I need the secret sauce to confirm the market trend

Working on ES levels

Showing what the chart looks like for Friday trading off the levels

Alot more work is needed but is sitting as # 6 on my priority list.

But had some free time on hand so thought to work on the ES to see what it would look like.

Sharmas, I don't post much, but on occasion I get inspired to say "thanks"!!! for showing the community that trading can work, its not just a pile of randomness, it does have its repetition. it gives hope to all of us that thru trial and testing we too can find our 'special sauce ' that's works for us, good job, keep it up!

Your levels look like repeated evenly spaced lines. Is that intentional or a coincidence?

I would imagine that they are intentional. That way he can use the Fibonacci tool to draw them. It makes the drawing less tedious and time consuming.

The key to his lines is what he draws them based off of. @sharmas, feel free to answer, I was just giving my interpretation

I do validate the levels and then use the secret sauce to give me directions and potential profit targets

I know they are not Fibs, but the fib tool makes it easy to draw many lines. Do you know what I mean?

Pretty excited with this. ES level was worked out yesterday and i played with it a bit and today took a beautiful set up after the secret sauce confirmed it.
