Asia 5:3 green (again!): TOP Shenzen + 2.71%, Flop Hang Seng - 0.31%

I understand that you use DAX numbers for analysis only and trade ETF. You mentioned this few months ago but I'm unable to find it now.

Would you be kind enough to give the details again?

I'm considering adding some EU trading in addition to MES. Ideally I want to trade futures but the micro market seems pretty small in EU (I may be wrong here). Hence looking @ ETF trading.

FDXM is 5 euros a tick (1/5 the size of FDAX) as another option.

Volume is well down compared to normal, for the 1/2hr after London Cash Open. And has been all week...

There seemed to be buyers at/below Yesterdays RTH POC, so have a bit of a bias upwards

FDXM is 5 euros a tick (1/5 the size of FDAX) as another option.

I was initially unable to find the symbol for Mini or Micro DAX. There was only one option. It's DAX. (Surprise)

I finally found out, whilst placing an order, that I adjust the multiplier to 1 for MICRO, 5 for MINI and to 25 for full DAX.

Very different from S&P but pretty neat.

Volume for mini and micro dax is less than 50k but I'm ok with that whilst dabbling with eurex futures.

This week nearly nearly no time at the keyboard. Thus restricted
trades as long I am working on projects.

Nervous markets with a lot of sideways - quite annoying...

Week 6 result

This week had 2 trades

One positive + 7 points
no neutral 0 points
one negative: - 20 points

Weekly result: - 13 points
Total 2024: 215 -13 = 202 points

Really not a normal trading week.
Finally most of the important company numbers are out now...

Monday (experimental) trade*

DAX long 8:00 to 16:30 (lame duck - prolonged to 17:00)
entry @ 16961
exit @ 17028
result + 67 points

edit 10:44 - the 17k line had been killed again - some more up today
on the plate

*experimental here means the search of Weekday patterns pre cash
in the DAX from 7:30 to 09:00 - official opening with the goal to
get some extra points. We will see.
These points given will count in the journal - be it positive or negative.
