Hi @GFIs1,
Sorry for repeating a question, I just would like to understand how the L&S 16k has more importance than the FDAX 16k.
Could you please explain your thoughts on this?
Thank you,
Deetee

Hi @Deetee - thanks for your endurance

Here an explanation. DAX future is trimmed on a restricted time from 9:00 to 17:30 - (with exceptions depending on the provider) running behind the markets that dictate the pre and after floating with Asia and American markets.
L&S is - as you know - from 7:30 to 22:30 open and takes advantage of being also outside of the normal DAX trading hours.
Here in this thread I am mostly using IB (30m) plus rules to find my points on the table.
Watching today's moves on L&S in the morning (having already a red bias) I could have made some positive points while on DAX future there was not the same price range. Thus a negative resulted.
Of course my system runs fine since 2012 on the DAX future itself - I am looking for a parallel trade with both suppliers.
Might give some extra punch - yes?
As my trading (in this thread) is 99% is based on one trade per day - one could move with L&S certainly one or more better or adjacent moves. But this is not that good for the readers following from trade 1 to today in this journal.
A strong point for L&S is swinging more than the DAX future itself. Means for last week HIGH in L&S was 16002 and killed the 16k line while the DAX future came on a high of 15998. So L&S had more volatility - just some points more during normal market time.

To sum it up - experimenting a bit more to find out what is the best.
Hope this helps.

Good morning @GFIs1,
I understand now, the DAX index is leading (or L&S), and not the FDAX future.
(The DAX index reached 15998 that day, the FDAX future reached 16044).
Thank you,
Deetee
