Never Trust a Statistic or You falsified it by Yourself
Well Thank God its Monday (TGIM) - or so...
Statistics:
• Fi has more than 150k inscripted members
• There is the competition of journals in October with big prizes: Good luck to you all! From a member with 3 x winning
• Fi wants to attract more members - which is with the new modern branding very timely and highly probable
So where is the beef?
• How many JOURNALS are mentioned in the September statistics above?
Just one: the 'Spoo-nalysis ES e-mini futures S&P 500' thread with 106 thanks in September ranking. Congrats!
• Where are all other journals - which should attract now the new members invited by NexusFi.com?
GFIs1 one with over 11k thanks given in just one journal thread (there are some other's not counted here)
The poster is statistician (University Basle Switzerland) himself
• It is very strange that his very good discussed GFIs1 journal here does not appear in the upper monthly posted statistic. Nor in the 7 day statistic. To make it short: IT NEVER APPEARED there.
Discussions with @bobwest a year back. Nothing changed though.
In a glimpse:
Top thanked thread in September is the "NexusFi upgrades and rebranding will be in this thread!" thread with 106 thanks.
I counted the thanks of my very lively journal here with exclusively given to my post thanks in September:
Result 111 thanks (sauf erreur) Top thanks post here was made by @bobwest with 9 thanks in September.
I had several with 7 thanks, many with 5 and less. Thanks to my 251 followers! And growing!
My question to @Big Mike: why are some threads (obviously) not counted?
This is not an offense but a real question again to the Admin's. Just another input from my side to the new branding. Which is modern, elegant and attractive. I made this post intentionally in my own thread.
I would like to see serious statistics. OR NONE.
Dear FOLLOWER - if you think this post is worth a thank - give it ONCE here.
My intention is to make NexusFi even better.
And of course I'm not in the Journal contest here. Don't worry.
Really: Do not worry about a few thank-you notes in a forum. It doesn't matter how many you have or get. In the end, it is more important that you earn your money with the trade. Or am I completely wrong? You are marked here as "Legendary Market Wizard", so what do you want more.
If the people here want to applaud the postings about whatever upgrades over the forum frenetically every day, that is also their right. I don't even read the thread anymore, because it has absolutely nothing to do with any trading of derivatives. I post also already in certain threads nothing more, since the presentation pleases me there in no way more. But this is JMO and so it is just.
Keep doing what you're doing and don't get upset. Finally, this: I also post in another forum and there are different rules than in this forum. I've made almost two hundred posts there, but I post in an area where I can't be thanked. Does that bother me? No. Is the thread successful? Oh yes, and great. Do you see the thread when you just go to the thread topics first in the forum? No.
The people here who know what is good, they know you and that is what is important.
This is something I should have done months ago. The purpose of this thread is just to track the changes that I make to the site over time. Some may find it interesting, but its mainly for me.
So, unfortunately most the heavy lifting has been done …
(note, this is not the thread that is used for the upgrade/rebranding changes to the site appearance, but the thread for reporting system issues.)
He will manually run the queries and respond in that thread, where both your issues and his replies will be widely available. If there is any problem with the data, it will be found and corrected, and will be in the public problem reporting thread for full visibility.
Thanks.
Bob.

I think you are getting confused by the timing. The best threads by thanks in the last month looks at the thanks given timestamp and checks it is within the last 30 calendar days.
How many thanks have been given to your thread in the last month? I would have to run manual queries to find out, but I assure you there is zero bias in our stats and frankly I am surprised to hear the accusation. You would think you knew me beter than that over the years, that is simply not my style.
Also, some stats are calculated every minute (top of thread summary) but others like 'best' are calculated hourly or every 4h, I would have to check closer.
Anyway, all stats are automatic with zero human intervention or manipulation.
Further discussions of this should be carried out in the changelog thread. I only saw your post here due to Bob alerting me.
DAX short 10:30 to 14:30
entry @ 15388
exit @ 15446 (SL on 2nd)
result - 58 points
GFIs1
edit 11:07 - the double top at 15446 still not reached to get lower. The trade after the normal rules for today is still not on track down. But this may come still.
edit 12:19 - double top was reached on the 11:30 candle. Some rebound from here on the plate.
edit 16:40 - the line 15400 today was quite thin for a battle. Mentioned down trend (some days ago) hasn't finished yet.
edit 19:20 - waiting for US FOMC data 20:00 - expecting lower...
