That’s a good lesson for me from this trading week on the DAX since I only trade the DAX in the morning.
After Friday quarter end a new Monday comes up with an up gap on Monday.

15:00 low minus 9:30 open = -49 pts > your big 40 pts SL
I really want a credible explanation how did you survive it. I mean, a SL > 40 pts means no SL set at all, according to your own rules (of course rules are made to be broken also).
In my humble opinion, SL has to be also mentioned before the trade for greater credibility. I would appreciate other forum's members opinions on the subject - maybe I am just the only one wrong here.

Please refer to my post #3189 where I mentioned that this 3rd quarter of September is a special one - with large ups and downs even with the nearing of a German holiday on 3rd of October.
Of course there were SL rules for that very special trade which indeed passed my normal high SL with 40 pts.
But I will no longer discuss the SL settings as this is a journal and not a "follow me for free" thread. Some extra
rules are implemented in this system which are not revealed here as they are fitting for very special situations.
