Year end coming next week.
This means that some companies are having last day of their business year.
Means also that some brush up for the stock might happen. Think of bonus
and other...
So on next Wednesday and Friday (the last) good points could result.
Even the markets will be calm some market makers can push prices within
low volume quite a lot.
Of course volumes were going down during December quite a bit.
So stated in my posts "low volume" but we have seen still some normal patterns.
Starting 2017 the volumes are getting silently back to normal.
Today we can see that the IB vol (9:00 to 9:30) is still low -
BUT - the second candle from 9:30 to 10:00 has doubled to the same candle last week.
This shows quite some interest (or flow back of money into the markets) in the
DAX.
Pushing levels to new higher levels means some surprise to the traders that
are not yet active.
Welcome @ratfink to promising trades during this year!
Looking forward to an active 2017, Dax should be moving well, although I am feeling rather sheepish as I never even thought about it being open today...
