Dax long 9:30 to 13:30

entry @ 9740
exit @ 9710 (SL)
result -30 points

IB vol high

GFIs1

addendum: as mentioned in @ratfink thread - a SL of 40 points would have survived the tide.
Entry was not best but vola has eaten the stop loss... With a 40p SL - a positive result came out.
I am not looking back...

Unlucky timing this morning @GFIs1, they were after you, Friday nearly always a bugger.

No problem so far @ratfink
It depends on your system - to see on which day you make the points.
Maybe you are exhausted with your galloping charts when it finally comes to Friday

As for my statistics on the weekdays - yeah - that is how the rules work here - showing
the actual results for every weekday with the published results in this thread:

As I skipped Tuesday and Thursday since 2013 those weekday results are nearly zero...
But some Tuesdays or Thursdays are still traded, especially before or after holidays.

We can see that Friday is right after Wednesday in the weekday statistic.

Happy weekend

You are much better than me at this, all a big part of my FOBW.

Yes, for your system this works very well. For the wave structure and my system it is not a factor, Dax 'tends' to behave in certain ways on some weekdays, but it is no more than that.

Indeed! Although my charts only look galloping because I rarely show the intermediate ones.

My exhaustion is through too much screen time and coupled with a lack of conviction. For many month now my analysis of the Dax has been great, yet I have killed trades worth hundreds of points, simply through lack of self-belief. I am making significant changes this weekend to begin work on this.

Your approach and relaxed style remain an inspiration my friend.

Cheers

This week had 2 negative trades:

Minus 5 minus 30
Weekly result -35 points
Points since week 1: 76

GFIs1

Looking here at the four Walzer* in the first 3 weeks: Total of 261 points
This shows how volatile the markets were since beginning of the year.
