Today we have the last trading day in the DAX with a shortened time before a long weekend:
Low volume and some erratic movements do not allow to see this a normal last trading day of
the month.
Therefore no GFIs1 trade today. Protecting capital.

GFIs1

uptdate 10:30 - very low volume - only 10'000 contracts total

We have seen a nice downmove to the last accepted areas.
Volume today til' now 25'000.
Closing of the Dax at 14:00 (90 minutes from here)
The brave made a nice gain...
The others enjoy a RELAXED day.

Looking back to the trades commented on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) since February and twittered from January
I am underlining some points where time and investment optimized are making sense.

First a look at the overall result:

Then a look at the cumulated result per weekday:

Optimizing the GFIs1 system could include following major points:
a) no trades on Tuesday and Thursday's OR
b) optimize the rules for these two weekdays
c) putting most weight on Wednesdays as the rule says 90% short
d) Trade only January to August...

Comparing the above results with the other nexusfi.com (formerly BMT)- thread here

There is one final obvious point to consider:

Running GFIs1 Daily System the first 8 months - stop that one and switch all weight into
the Big Wave would have brought more than to follow the daily system for all 12 months

After all this year brought consistent wins.

Have a Happy New Year
GFIs1

Congrats to you for having such a consistent system generating these constant and profitable results !

Well, in hindsight it might have been the correct decision to switch over to your other trading system in September, but next year things may change and look quite different...

So, if you consider to make some adjustments to your trading days (we talked about that some time ago) for next year, you may improve even more.

But, bottom line you achieved some very good results, so just keep up your good work !
