OK. But when you say "system generated a short signal" do you mean the system of your own discretionary rules ? or do you have some computerized algorithm? What I am doing is I look at the leg and try to assess historically whether it is fully developed in terms of total volume, number of bars, percent change etc.

Yes - system means the rule set for every weekday.
In the bigger picture (daily) the supporting Kumo gets weaker - but could push
prices still to a higher level. At least the support was so strong that the price could
not pass Kumo in the last few weeks.

Fortunately...

..no trade today announced or started.
All rules would NOT have given a positive outcome in this situation.

Happy Weekend!

If you were to trade today when would you place your exit? Just wishing to learn...

Yes, I think you are so right. On the one hand the leg up which started Friday afternoon is not finished yet so the leg setup is still bullish. On the other hand this large gap down, with intraday RSI pointing down is problematic. Too much conflicting evidence. Hope this will work out successfully...

Much success

Back from holidays to join my favorite thread. Today no important news were forecasted, but you stayed only 1 hour in the market. Was it due to indecision in direction ?
After 9.30 (down candle completed) I agreed for short, but after 10.00 (up candle completed) I voted for long, assumed down swing completed, direction closing gap...
