seems like the closing in 20 min. might end @ 12400...
to then get back lower in the next hour

Looking back on this triple witch week we see some movements from 12050 to around 12400. Not really challenging - but Intraday some really not predictable zigzag took out many stops on either side.

Beware:
Triple witch weeks are VERY TRICKY - don't trade at all if you are not sure of risk!

Hi Grantx
A triple witch week is when the 3 big futures. Expire - time for the DAX future is always @ 13:00h. Open positions will be automatically closed by the broker normally to the last price.

Future expiration is always on the 3rd Friday of the month.
The big future expirations are always in the last week of a quarter - exactly on 3rd Friday of that month.

There are always several futures in the market ahead of the actual one - those are not so volatile as the volume is much lower.

The actual Dax future is the December 2018 one that will expire on 21st December - then triple witch week!

Looking back: Monday was not worth trading - thin signal on IB, price sitting right above Kumo.

Today: FED decision ahead - some interest up awaited (end of 3rd quarter!)

DAX short 9:30 to 15:30

Was exact turning point 15:30 :-)) like previewed above
just looking @ body of 30m candle.
Time was told 8:30 to when to enter, direction and time of exit at the same time.
