Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

Wednesday trade

Yesterday was really such a shakeout day with a range of 175 points.
Looks so that near ATH the vola with good volume is high.
These special "patterns" can hold on for some weeks.
The euro markets need to get used to the monthly money swamp
by the ECB.
So some caution is needed.

As we had 175 range on Tuesday there will be no trade today.

QE is over. For now. But just don't call the tops when funny money is flowing in unstoppable.

Trade to live. Not live to trade.

..Draghi's QE program starting today for a lot of coming months.

This money flow can drive up European Indices in no time..
So ALL shorts now in the futures are higher risk than longs.

Don't forget

..we might even consider to ALL (my) rule sets:
to NOT take a short when in previous hour(s) a new ATH had been seen

My NEW Draghi RULE

Easy to understand NEW Draghi rule coming here:

(for all my systems // will not repeat it in the other threads)

If last day or starting day made a new ATH:
NO short taken (even if it is a part of the rule)

Easy - isn't it?

GFIs1- the rule creator

PS: will for sure last for the next 18 months

How about the rule is Draghi starts to talk - buy, when his speech is finished and QA ensues - close and hit the pub

Trade to live. Not live to trade.
