i let it go... but still i was really disappointed.... but emotions are like prices... once you are on a high you get back to a low to later make a new high...

off topic...

Always fantastic to see another new journal. And I look forward to the video journal as well.

Good job so far.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

i had the vision... i knew it was short but i did not trade as i read the there is thanksgiving in the US...
so i just sat back and watched what was happening in the market... i looked at the TF...
--
the speed of the TF was nice today... easy, smooth and relaxing...
i have seen 4 possible entries today... as marked in the chart...
--
first target today would be 676 but with more potential to the downside...
---
i call it the day as i have to return some videotapes
--
have a nice day everyone!

hi traders!
--
i traded the TF today but i have not taken any trades...
the market was very slow moving and i got a lot of wrong signals from my macd...
i also waited for a bigger short which never appeard, as of yet... but also the long side was not convincing to me... honestly i expected a gapclose but then the market started to trend up in small steps... i saw one or two entries but i wasnt to sure about them so i left it out... now i got bored and decided to call it the day...
hopefully there will be more movement tomorrow...
--
have a nice day!

hi traders!
--
what a day!
first i overslept because my mobile didt ring because our electricity went down in the night and i had it on the charger. then i got a ticket for speeding and then my stupid camtasia program didnt work and it took me a good hour to figure out that it strangley got currupted by the divxplayer that i have downloaded a couple of days ago. as soon as i deinstalled the files my camtasia worked. so i missed the opening and i was kinda pissed today.
--
anyway...
i recorded a little video but it did not get as good as i expected it. i am not that much talking and explaining as i was in a bad mood and not relaxed. but in future i will get into more detail.
i did a couple of trades and made some investments (stopped out) to the market til i finally get on a nice short.
i called the 38 retracement on the 1597 chart as my target and it got hit as i have seen right now.

i should be more picky with choosing trades and be a little more relaxed with trailing and thinking through my trades a little bit better. i would have gotten more down with my last short the the 61 extension.
--
tomorrow i will also be starting a bit later.
--
have a good day!

wild wishes

I highly suggest getting a youtube account.

then you put your entries with [ yt ] video [ /yt ] (take out the spaces)

Maybe try [ screencast ]video[ /screencast ]

Thanks for sharing!

wooohaaa!
--
today was - finally - a good day...
i made one gift at the beginning of todays session. reason was, i expected the TF to go down further more and then continue the move to the upside. instead the market went up straight but could not break the high of todays premarket. i then took a short and got on a nice easy run down but i could have done better. again i was to fast with trailing my SL although i knew and called the markets continuiation to the downside. i could have made easily 4 -6 points. but ended up with 1.9.
--
i got to embrace much more patience into my trading and also the ability the see things outside the box. does that make sense?
--
all the best!

P.S. the sound of my microphone strangley changed during the video... argh... and i realized that my changes have not been saved in the intro... the date and instrument is not correct... sry for that...
