Catching Big Waves - a trader's journal of surfing the the markets
Another trade that I did not post but is bugging me today, I bought 6e last night around 126 even. Got stopped out at near breakeven. Not that big of a deal, but the remnants from that trade are relfected in my chart trader balance today. $1005. That 5 bothers me, because I know where it came from and where 6E is now...

I feel that right now. I felt that this morning from the missed CL long trade. I felt that from the 6E trade last night.

That is what I believe this journal is helping me to do.
Thanks for this Gary, great post -- I also feel the same way whenever I do something contrary to what my gut says to do, due to my ego or fear, for example. However, when we are on the right side of the market, and when we are patient, in flow with the market, we just feel good. There's no upstream swimming... it's smooth sailing. We feel empowered, energetic, and happy -- the opposite of what the quote above points out... thanks for bringing this quote to my attention.
