Kind of a goofy day today...got 1 trade on TF jumping on a trade Bugs was in that worked out well and got one small scalp off the Midcap. there was a trade later on in ES but passed on it. Have to be careful tomorrow ...ECB press conference at 8:30 and Bernanke spouting off at 1:30

Thanks @kbit for dropping by & keeping this journal alive... I appreciate you mentioning me everyday & giving me credit... Infact I should thank you in return for having trust in what i share...

I just wanna mention one thing... "when a teacher teaches his/her class & expects everyone to do good... In return of his/her efforts only a few turn out to be the bright one's"..... If no one opens the door to knowledge they cant go too far in life.... "I remember once my professor mentioned this to me "Never try to be oversmart, ask questions & speak only logic & LISTEN TO EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF EVEN IF THEY SPEAK ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU MAY HAVE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF",, The key is to Listen & understand stuff which a few do when i explain some basic stuff.. I know you guys already know what im trying to explain.. but still you guys give me a chance to explain myself, which i really appreciate in return... Thanks & see you in the room.....

I wish all best of Luck

I had a couple mediocre trades....I also had two almost good trades that missed my entry by one stinking tick and one actually hit my entry but didn't fill. Frustrating day on TF for me but 6E was fair to me though.

This one is Bugs 1597 chart, notice first red arrow is bearish engulfing bar at swing high but it had a little chop on the way up and more importantly was not "confirmed" by another down candle afterwards( was a doji in this case).
It was not tradeable the way it set up but based on location it gives you a heads up. The second red arrow was another engulfing bar that was confirmed and did give an entry ( side note: on engufing bars you can use the two tick rule of thumb or a lot of times I like to enter on 50% retrace of bar) I would have looked to enter at 785 on this.(yellow arrow)

This is the midcap, trade lined up at same time as the TF, nice pinbar confirmed by a engulfing bar...what more could you want....looked for entry on this at yellow arrow at 835 and it missed me by one tick..oh well, that's what can happen if you don't jump in on the two tick deal sometimes.

Hi Kbit,
Please review the attached chart, Would you have taken the trade of the pinbar 7 candles from the right? or it needs to be at an end of a move. Thanks.

All in all a fair day for me did get a few trades ...missed the ones to brag about but that's how it goes...anyway Looks like Tf should come back down tonight the zombies never really got control and are losing thier grip at this point.
I'm still thinking that come NY they will try to push a little higher but lose control to the bears early on...we'll see.
I see no support for this run up really. My free advice (which is worth what your paying for it) is to look for a nice short setup..though it may have happened today already. Maybe I'll post tommorow and take some flack about how crazy I am. And as always, thank you Bugs for your numbers and trade ideas

Hi Kbit,
Please review the attached chart, Would you have taken the trade of the pinbar 7 candles from the right? or it needs to be at an end of a move. Thanks.

Would have passed on that...your right, you want less "traffic" of on the left...more of a swing, just to crowded.
If you compare that to the chart you sent me earlier you will see the difference(more so on the second trade, the first wasn't all that bad either and it was also a clean run down, meaning it wasn't a choppy descent). Feel free to ask if you don't understand

Edit:..Sam check your skype for my comments on your other chart
