Does tradestation allow automated trading without opening charts?

To my knowledge not, there is no counterpart a la strategies tab in NT.

You could use some of the advanced programming in TS to do this. It is called OOEL in Tradestation, and is not the traditional Easy Language.

Yes, as far as I know you'd need to do some custom coding to do this. Maybe try posting your question at Tradestation support, there might be some pre-made templates already.
