So I just spent a ridiculous amount of time finding a strategy that works well with the "setbreakeven" code as an exit on daily bars. Of course I embarrassingly remembered that with this type of exit on a daily bar I have to try it with Look-inside-bar setting activated. Of course the whole strategy failed with that setting enabled...

I don't have faith that I will be able to "save" this strategy but would still like to make an attempt by asking the forum if they have any advice on what code or rule I could try to add to give the strategy some "wiggle room" so it would resemble the daily chart but without the look-inside-bar enabled. As of now, as soon as the profit reaches the breakeven amount, and then falls below that it just exits.

I know it's a long shot but I thought I might as well ask...

Have you tried modifying the code to work on minute bars instead of on daily bars?

Don't get caught by the "sunk costs" fallacy.
Swiftly move on.

Yeah, I quickly realized that there is no point. I see it as a learning experience!
