I was looking for brokers that offered stocks AND futures. Could not find much other than interactive brokers, tradestation and TD ameritrade.

Then I bumped into this:

https://www.tradestation-international.com/global/

They seem to have nice fees, surely beats opening an account at tradestation.com as an international customers.

I had a short experience with them and it definitely was not good for my purpose. What is it that you want to do with the TS platform exactly? Observe that basically you have to make an Interactive Brokers account that is connected to the TS platform. This for example means less historical backtesting. Also you can't (or couldn't) take automatic trades.

If you have questions I'll try to answer them.

I was about to come here to update this post. I contacted tradestation.com asking about this other site, if it was legit or scam, they said they are legit. I was just worried that it could be those sites that uses other famous brands names to lure people in.

I Just wanted a broker that offered futures, stocks and forex all in one. Not particularly interested in TS platform, I prefer Metatrader and Sierra, but if I am forced to use it, I will use it.. I only need price and volume anyways.

But in this case I honestly think you can't go wrong with interactive brokers. They are cheaper than TS Global and have everything you want I think. They are also internationlly renowned.

Or what is the reason you would want TS Global over IB? Tradestation Global is basically an IB account (you have to sign up for an account there first) that is more expensive because they give access to TS platform.

IB platform is crap, and the setup with Sierra is clunky and unreliable. On top of that, Sierra Chart support is a bunch of pretentious douchebags, you are screwed if you need any sort of technical support.

IB platform does not even offer the option to have HLC bars on the chart... Also, I need the Weis Wave indicator in my trading, and cumulative delta.

I misunderstood what what you needed. Sounded like you maybe didn't need to do much technical analysis.

I mean yeah TS Global could be an option for you. I just want to add that with them you don't get access to the latest TS platform version and that you don't get much historical data for backtesting (you should check how much) as the data still come from IB. Also the automatic threading function was disabled in TS Global when I tried it around a year ago.

You could also use Multichart of course and choose your data provider while using IB as the broker whitout the need to use IB own platform which I agree are pretty horrendous.

For international customers wanting to trade US ETFs for instance any IB setup will fail. They have closed my account and told me I should use the UK branch. When I did they told me I couldn't trade US ETFs either! Closed that account after 2 days. My account at TDA was also closed for the same reason and from the big names only TradeStation is still exepting Europeans (not sure if you are) because of EU rules. All of them will let you trade derivatives but not ETFs.

EU citizens can trade CFD:s of most liquid US-ETF:s on IB.
Price is same as underlying ETF.

Thanks for that. They could've told me you'd think. But hey, I'm just a client... ;-)

Do you have any insight to share on liquidity for these instruments and whether they're available for non-leveraged ETFs as well?

Wait! When looking up how exactly CFDs work the very first thing I see is that they're banned in the US. It's only Investopedia so nothing too serious but could it be it's not the safest option to use CFDs?

Tnx...
