I'm writing an intraday futures strategy that needs to refer to "Total Volume (contracts)", but the documentation says that for intraday futures "Ticks" will return either "Total Volume (contracts)" or "Total Number of Ticks" depending on whether you have selected "Trade Vol" or "Tick Count".

I can't find a way to make this selection and am hoping someone here can help point me in the right direction.

Edit: I've attached a screenshot of the documentation.

ReximusMaximus,

on the settings tab of the "Format Symbol" dialog window you can change the setting for "For Volume" to either "Trade Vol" or "Tick Count". The value the reserved word Ticks returns depends on the selection you made for the chart.

Thanks.

Using your suggestion, and on version 10.0 I was able to find the setting using this path: Timeframe > Customize > For volume.

Much appreciated.
