Yes. If you go to their website, you will find an option to get the Tradestation software and data feed by itself.
I'm not going to go check on the current cost, but I tried it a few years ago, and it was something like (my memory about it is vague) $150 or $250 per month. That's why I only tried it for a short while....
Check the site for the current offer and cost. (Who knows, maybe it's not that high any more....)
Bob.
Update: well, I decided it wouldn't be responsible to just leave this reply without actually checking what they currently are doing. The web site has been carefully designed to channel anyone who comes around into opening an account, or speaking to a rep. Basically, I don't see how anyone could find out, now, whether they still offer this or not.
So I can say that they used to, and the cost was so outrageous that I don't imagine that they just gave it up, but I can't actually say that they still do. You may just have to actually contact them to find out, which will be a sales encounter.

No there isn't. Optimus carries the TradeStation software now, and it is $99 per month with a funded account.
If you trade 10RTs, ie 20 futures trades it is waived.
Thanks,
Matt

I did find it. The fee is pretty hefty, basically what I remembered.
You'll need to be using TS just for charting and to make decisions, but will need another trading platform with some broker for trades. This is sim only.
@bobwest, I stand corrected. I never inquired about the sim only version, for obvious reasons.
Just as an FYI: 10RTs a month also entitle you to the RadarScreen and Maestro as well.
Thanks,
Matt

I apologize. However, the pricing I provided is not unique to Optimus, this is for TS brokerage as well.
The other facts that are promotional will be deleted as per request.

I guess you probably can. But its an even costlier route. Maybe not worth your while unless for a unique and non occuring need. Cost effective with the brokerage account.

When I opened the account with Tradestation few years back, I got the platform free for lifetime, as long as I maintain an account balance of 5K. You can check and see if there are any promotions.

I do not think this exists now, but can check for the futures.io (formerly BMT) community.

Yes have seen similar promos been given at times. I too had received similar stuff around the time they had some seminars at San Fran. But for some reason did not go in for that. Would have been sweet as it would probably have been that open a Fx/Futures or any equity account and tie it to the customer number. basically every account would be tied and platform would be free. As without that Radarscreen/Data"depending on bundle or more" and Platform comes to a packet
Went back and checked emails...it was being offered if someone opening another additional account was bringing over an IRA. Date was 11/30/2013.

No Problem. Since TradeStation has it's own pricing model that we follow, we did not include it in the calculator.

Do you have to have a TS account to be a forum member over there? I think I tried several years ago and was unable to join as I do not have an account but am wondering if this might have changed.
I do not think you have to be a customer. But, you can also ask here if you need to know something specific, and I will try to answer.
Thanks,
Matt

as far as I recall you can only join when you subscribe to their platform or have an account with them - which obviously makes sense from their point of view. Your account is deleted when you stop subscribing to the platform.
I don't know how it is handled when you are using Optimus and @mattz as broker, but it should be possible when you use Tradestation through them.
Thanks. If you use Optimus Futures to trade via TradeStation platform you will get the exact same privileges.
We have been working closely with the TS guys, and they are solid.
Thanks,
Matt

Apologies for silly question but I've no experience with TradeStation yet. If someone is opened account then historical data are for free or there are some subscription fees? Thanks.
