Sounds like the YM to me, and you’re up 5 bucks for that point/degree. But if one were to put more worth or value in smaller increments, such as a science experiment, where you might be interested in the effects of each tenth of a degree, and you associated a value to that incremental movement (say 5 bucks). Well then going from 50.0 to 50.1 all the way to 51, has a totally different meaning (worth). Hey, now you’re up 50 bucks for that point. Changing the increment (min move) and associating a value to that (min$ move) ultimately DETERMINES the Big Point Value.
But whatever, I’m not here to bicker. It’s just how I look at it, right or wrong. Although again, if I’m totally off base here, and someone can constructively explain how I should change my thoughts, I’d be more than willing to listen! I only replied to this thinking I could help, apparently I was wrong, and I will stop!
Hmm.. the Op's inquiry seems to have morphed into quite a thread.
Wouldn't it be interesting if Haverchuck was correct and the Op only wanted to know how each member achieved level and points based upon postings and activity and really wanted to learn if those "points" had some real value and how to go about accessing that value .
