i love renko and i hate it (is not a real price, you have a deviation of renko size). this deviation is your friend or your enemy, but generated signals are noise free. so you can better find entry and exit signals.

renko deviation works with your or against you ...

i use renko as a noisefilter -- before double ma wasn t there without indicators ... but adxvma and zerolag are greater than other stuff ...

here an backtest instead of 4 range with 4 renko with simple zerolagofzerolag

best regards

Hey arne - can you post a chart or two so we can get a visual of what this looks like; maybe a renko chart and the companion range/tick chart for comparison purposes? I have never seriously looked at renko charts, because I have not taken the time to understand them.

Arne,

Renko charts also update on bar close. You don't get to see what is going on on a tick by tick basis.

I am working on a Renko version that has "tails" and updates on every tick.

RJay

P.S. I have a brother named Arne.

Good Name!!

and for neal a shoot of renko and range

selected time is 13:00 - 15:00 darker gray zone

best regards

arne

i think you work on 4 renko and greater range bars like 8 (double size or with fibonacci numbers like this

3 Renko
5 Renko
8 Range
13 Range

if you will pick some pips/ticks is egal

hope it helps and feedback required

if you understand the renko systems it will give you what you wants
(money, love, peace, d*pe, rock n rolla ... )

Hey Everyone,

I want to make a clarification to the bar chart I have posted here.

I did not write this program. I used the Renko bars written by Roonius that is posted on NT's forum and made a few changes to it.

Its like this,

Roonius - 98%
RJay - 2%

The difference between a real programmer and hack.

RJay

Arne,

What do you think???

I'm not familiar with this indicator. I posted the picture.

We're suppose to be sharing here so here's the chart.

Check it out. let me know if it helps.

RJay

If the RenkoMedianBars attachment is working code (not development/beta) please post in the file sharing section as well. You can always link back to this thread in the description (or create a new thread).

Arne,

Be sure to forward test in real time. I do not have a lot of faith in the analyzer. Especially on unsupported charts type like this.
