Cory - Beside the chart and time frame, we still need a method to filter trends, either MA, (200/50, 89) or triggerlines or Pivots as such. if you would comment on methods you choose, would help

sharky provides the black line all you have to do is watch it steps up or down to decide the trend

I agree with Sharky, use what works for you. But since you asked , this is a simple trend system I use for TF . I use a 5 tick range bar, 5 is NOT a magic number. It happens to be half the ticksize for TF.

I use either 2 different length ema's or futures.io (formerly BMT)wave to show the trend and I use the CCI or Zscore to filter "head fakes".

I think I'll call it the Texas Two Step...
