I use CQG, but you can get bond charts from any data provider. They have both futures and the cash markets.

I have TDA and I can see symbols for bond futures, but what symbols do you know of that are for bond trading? The TDA rep told me that I'd have to call their office to find out about purchasing bonds and that I'd have to Google for information on bonds. I think they mean bonds other than US Treasury Bonds.

Quoting
06:19 Aaron_FW: They are traded over the counter, it is a different market then futures and forex. That is not what you need, you are looking for quotes. /ZB is the quote of the trading futures contract for the 30 year bonds. TYX is the yield for the 30 year. If you want to buy a bond, you would go through our bond desk at 800-672-2098 and they can quote you the price to buy the bond from a dealer.

The only symbols that I can find for bonds are:

US Treasury Bonds
/UB[M2],"Ultra T-Bond Futures, ETH"
/ZB[M2],"30-Year U.S. Treasury Bond Futures,ETH"
/ZF[M2],"5-Year U.S. Treasury Note Futures,ETH"
/ZN[M2],"10-Year U.S. Treasury Note Futures,ETH"
/ZT[M2],"2-Year U.S. Treasury Note Futures,ETH"
FVX,Treasury Yield 5 Years
TNX,CBOE Interest Rate 10-Year T-Note
TYX,Treasury Yield 30 Years

Do you know of any other bond symbols or where I can find them? I guess state, municiple and corporate bonds aren't available on charts with price and volume? It seems that bonds are another trading instrument where there is no centralized market.

I'm talking about the US Treasury Bond futures. The futures symbols I'm familiar with are either US or BD, or ZB for electronic bonds. You have to put the month after the symbol, and for some vendors, the last digit of the year too.

Wyckoff works in all time frames. Remember though, the smaller times are effected more by "noise" and news events, which can effect volatility.

Gary,

Would you be willing to post your take with charts on soybeans? Looks to me like the rally may be betting tired, but I've been wrong before.

David
