Hello,

I'm a beginner who is trading futures. My broker (thinkorswim) charging $3.50 per contract so I'm thinking about opening new account to lower those commissions.
In some cases trading commission structure is looking like
Total Commission = Broker Comission + Platform Commission + Exchange, Clearing and Regulatory Fees

While first two parts are relatively easy to find while the "Exchange, Clearing and Regulatory Fees" is what making me puzzled. Is there any place where I can find this information for particular instruments?
Is this fees are the same across brokers, exchanges?

Any help/suggestions are really apreciated.

Fr the CME anyway. Check your exchange for fees if not the CME.

To make it easy for you, here's an example :

$1.14 (Clear & Exchange) + .$01 (NFA) + $.30 (Commission) = $1.45 Total Per Side

This includes at most futures broker an ordering datafeed like zenfire/rithmic. If they offer TT as an ordering datafeed, you will most likely have to add $.05 per side on top of that. I strongly advise to not use those ordering datafeeds for the charting, I had numerous problems with zenfire displaying different data compared to DTN/IQFeed or Esignal.

Thank you very much for answers.

As an example I'm using ZN and AdvantageFutures ( I don't know much about them - probably liked their site more than others )

They are saying first 100 contracts will cost me $0.99 each. So the full commission will be

$0.99 (broker commission) + $0.01 (NFA) + $0.15 (Platform NinjaTrader fee) + $0.55 (Clear & Exchange) = $1.70 (Total per contract)

I took $0.55 from CME document mentioned in first reply by traderwerks
Looked into CME GLOBEX fees (secnd section) line for "Customers of Member Firms" line and "Interest rate products" column.

$1.70 - does this sounds like a real number or I've missed something?

Yes, that is about right.
