So if i had a stratergy written in tradestation could it be easily tranferred to NT.

from my experience it is not easy at all if not impossible, unless you know how to code. I personally have created an modified hundreds of strategies in tradestation and don't have a clue to do it in ninja.

My suggestion is always to keep it in the original code it was written because code conversion at times don't capture it all.
If you are looking for better execution, then you can get TS and NT connected.
If you insist on having it on one platform, try MultiCharts which reads easy language (with Rithmic).

Most basic indicators can be easily written in EasyLanguage or C#.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if there exists a median renko for TS? With stability issues in NT, I did switch to TS, but finding out there is no median renko type chart and I really used that quiet a bit and REALLY miss it. Please kindly reply to forum if one exists ( or if anyone can code it )

No, MultiCharts and TradeStation do not support custom bar types like MedianRenko. MultiCharts has regular Renko, 3LB, PnF, Kagi, plus all your usual types.
