I tried to understand this " DRAIN THE BANKS REV 8" few months ago. But I don't trade Forex, and also understood (maybe I'm wrong) that I should know what was "DRAIN THE BANK REV 7" and "DRAIN THE BANK REV 6" and "DRAIN THE BANK REV 5"...
So, if a smart guy like you is able able to write a resume of it, you're welcome .

Hi,

I tried an earlier DTB system (or something very similar). Couldn't get it to work and found it resulted in "paralysis by analysis".

Agree with gregor32, 3 Level Semafor has never been reliable (at least for me) and i've given up using dynamic S/R.......regarding the "Better Volume" indicator, my understanding (in MT4) of VSA is that you "only see" the liquidity of your broker and their liquidity providers and not the market, which in my mind defeats the purpose of VSA (unless you assume that your broker is the market)

just my 2c worth.

Cheers, Vince

DRAIN THE BANKS REV 8

1) Only trade if there is a 1, 2 or 3 semafor on the current or previous H1 candle. NO EXCEPTIONS.

SINCE THE PREVIOUS H1 CANDLE HAS A SEMAFOR - GBPUSD IS IN PLAY.

2) After you see the semafor on the H1 chart, look at the M15 chart for the long(light blue) and short(pink) triggers based on TRO DYNAMIC FIBS SR TRAIL indicator.

3) When price touches the trigger you enter. DON'T THINK, JUST ACT!

4) Only ONE TRADE PER M15 CANDLE. If price goes against you, just wait.

5) If price went against you and makes a new dynamic sup/res level, get ready to enter at the trigger. If you can't see how this works, then DO NOT TRADE IT. I have entered up to 3 times.

6) What's the STOP LOSS? The stop loss is your maximum allowed loss per trade based on your money management.

RISK = POSITION SIZE * STOP LOSS

STOP LOSS = RISK / POSITION SIZE

7) What's the TAKE PROFIT? You take what you can. I usually take 5+ pips and leave more on the table.

Guys,

please refrain from using words as 'stealing' and keep it civilized.
We don't want to smear, insult or otherwise irritate each other here and end up in shouting matches. This site is about helping each other.

Often similar ideas sprout up at different places, and we all use parts of earlier work to build on. Nothing is 'truly' original. If you don't believe it.. just do a patent search on an 'invention'. 99% of the patents are only variations on earlier themes.

Even on this forum it is not possible to tell who had which idea first, and undoubtedly not everybody get the credits he/she deserves. In the end it should not matter which name is attached to a system ... as long as it help to make money in the market.

If you really think somebody stole something, pls. notify the moderators and provide some proof. Then we will look into it further.

Apparently I was not clear in my intention (will try to improve my expression skills in English):

Quoting
If you really think somebody stole something, pls. notify the moderators and provide some proof. Then we will look into it further.

With 'stealing something' I mean something 'some commercially sold or leased code/indicator' that should not be distributed on a public forum.
The reason why I ask to report it to the moderator team is to shortcut the issue and prevent long discussions on the forum. It is our (all contributing users) forum but the end it is Mike's baby. And as he can't do everything himself one of the duties he delegated to the moderators is to assess if posts might not be fit for this forum. BTW moderators are by no means judge and executioner Flagged issues/posts are further discussed on the moderator forum as to where the lines should be drawn.

With regards to TRO. It may be that he collects indicators and makes them more beautiful and gives it his name. I don't know. 'IF' he does that ... it would not be my kind of person ... especially 'IF' he tried to make money out of it. But I am not interested to spend time on it, as long as he doesn't infringe on the forum policies.

But if he combines indicators into a system and 'shares' it under his name.... where does the borrowing/using end and where does the new invention start. Newness is in the eye of the beholder.

As I said in my first post, not always is the name of the 'inventer/first coder' attached to the final system. On our forum most people will attach Mike's name to the DMA (even while Mike took the trouble to explicitly put in his adaption of the code that Rollins made the original). I think that is the only thing you can do: make the effort to put the contributors in the code. In the end it is just not workable to try to give every contributor the credits he/she deserves. Some of Sharky's ideas end up in the HolyGrail package, other ideas of .... in AllYouNeed, etc, etc.

IMO opinion (I know it sounds soft and rosy ) it is all about intention.
We are here to help each other, share ideas/codes and support others/ourselves to make money in the market.
If people would take ideas, make something better and share ... nice
If people take, attach their name, glorify theirselves and don't share ... not worthy beings

I have seen the second type in several other forums, but I think such types will disappear from our forum quite fast, as the forum we have at the moment won't fulfill his/hers ego needs.
