lately, i've talked with traders who use only the DOM or ORDERFLOW tools for their daytrading.

I learned to daytrade when there was only charts, level2 and time/sales. What are daytraders using today for their main trading tools.

cheers

The DOM is my favorite tool. Makes money management so easy because I can see where I need to exit very clearly.

Hi @toucan94506bm,

Good question, but I have corrected your thread title to eliminate the ALL CAPS and use normal mixed case.

All caps should be used rarely, and only to provide a necessary emphasis. Using them too often, or in a thread title, doesn't really add anything, and pretty much just seems like shouting.

Please be sparing with them.

Thanks.

Bob.

When launching NinjaTrader - I ensure that I have my Discipline Manager opened and enabled - DM is a risk management tool that will halt me when I hit daily profit/losses targets.

I also have to open a window that displays the upcoming economic events.

After all that is open and confirmed, I check the chart.

I am trying to teach myself how to read orderflow. I've seen quite a few people use it successfully. Can't hide volume

yeah... ive seen people trade using orderflow and they all seem to be trading for ticks... much smaller profit targets than me... so didn't fit my daytrading style.
