Do you mean when the ema 8 crosses over the 34 ema? Or when the ema 8 is in the vicinity of the ema 34?

I am looking for in the vicinity of. I guess I SHould actually have asked for95%-105% to catch both close above and close below. i appreciate any help or even knowing whether or not such a scan is possible. Brain surgery has left me without much of what I used to know about ThinkScript.

I am looking for in the vicinity of. Actually, a better scan would be the 8EMA being equal to 95% or 105% of the 34 EMA
Thanks, Jerry.

Maybe it is not exactly what you want but it must be close.

Just create a filter able to determine if the 8EMA is within the channel formed by a 34EMA based on the High and a second 34 EMA based on the Low of Daily bar. This should approximate what you are looking for.
