Also, if you're interested in what the guy is doing, try to reverse engineer the charts. Looks like there's a couple of charts with signals on them. All the tools are available to reverse engineer 99% of what vendors are selling.
The following user says Thank You to phantomtrader for this post:
I know he started streaming last year as part of an experiment to see if anyone out there was interested in algorithmic trading. He's only on a couple times a week, if that. But from watching him over the past year, the viewers that do join his lives are a small group of dedicated Nasdaq 100 traders. He's probably not good at marketing himself.
Sorry, if this is already been posted somewhere else in this thread, but it definitely deserves a mention. It’s not so much specific trader with their technique, but interviews with traders from all over the world. I found it to be one of the most useful, YouTube channels regarding training that I have ever found:
I would like to add my financial experience having purchased the lifetime membership. Do Not buy the membership.
I would agree wholeheartedly that he does interviews and some are quite good. He is more of a travel agent as he travels far and wide to show you how he is trading across the globe. And he has done a great deal of interviews with allegedly successful traders.
O sure, he gives you a lot of freebies when you sign up, (i.e. a free spreadsheet etc) but it is all marketing.
I have never been able to understand his trading method.
So I dont want to discount or discourage Etienne's website altogether. But I do not think it is worth the 500 bucks to learn to trade from him. 297.00 would have been more reasonable.
Just recently he sent out a new product that appears to cost about 700 bucks. But that special pricing is for members only i think. Nevertheless, give him a try if you dont have to give him your money.
Etienne lost me when he started marketing algo out of the blue. Algo trading is a completely different beast from the discretionary, and the fact that he starts marketing his algo systems without any history behind it smells bad to me.
I am not sure if these channels have been mentioned:
Chat with traders
B the Trader
Trading Nut
The first one is solid, even after changing hands a few months ago. The last one is not amazing, as he is not selective with his guests, but some interviews are good.
