Just wondering if SKID is still using this pattern #1 of Kevin's.
Seems sooo nice and simple; also if SKID or CORY could advise when best you cancel your order (or do you..?) if there is no quick breakout after the 15 mins....??
Tkx

Hey @Volts101

When you want to ask a poster a question about their post, enter their name with '@' in front of it and this will send them a PM to draw their attention to your post. Not sure if @Skid has been around recently so he may miss your post. @cory is a regular poster.

Here you go. If you don't have all the indicators they are in the JeffsCCI thread.

cci for jeff beta 4 HASH template

Hi Jeff

Quite liked the template you kindly provided but unfortunately it would not load on the new version of NT7. Do you happen to have an updated version that you could share. I like the simplicity of the template

Hoping you can help
regards

I agree with the premise of this thread, less is indeed WAY MORE.

Hey Abde,

Sorry for the late reply........some how I missed the post......

In the first pic that you posted.........that is one of the first versions of the CCI that TMFT made for me.......that CCI study resulted in a new thread entitled Jeffs CCI which was recognized in last years futures.io (formerly BMT) best of voting. I still use the CCI today (among other things)......it looks a bit different.....but the same principles apply.....I'll post a pic. the indicator that I use is the CCI4Jeff_Betav8_SMA.......I'll post it for you in the JeffsCCI thread.

The second pic has three things.....two moving averages and a paint bar study......I would guess that the moving averages are 20/50 EMA with the Sharkfin paint bar.

Good trading, Jeff

this was nice, pretty chart, even to the point of each bar being a full 10tick handle, which is inherently dangerous to trade from, so I presume that this is the over watch chart that allows for the larger picture of what's happened relative to what happend, say an hour ago or since the opening, or since the prior day

it would be nice to have a template, and an indicator shopping list, of what's used, so that one could attempt this on our own, if you're so inclined to share such

just a simple request

cheers

Greetings Kronie, @kronie

I am interested to find out why you believe that trading from a 10 better renko chart is "inherently dangerous.? Please expound on that.

As far as indicators and templates of the aforementioned chart.....JeffCCI thread is full 'em. Have you looked there?

Jeff

As most traders who have been around awhile will attest the best trades are usually put on in the morning. That is usually when the big move in the market will occure if there is to be one. Through out those nasty narrow range trading days!

There are occasions when you will get two big moves in oposite directions as we had this last Friday. The market moved down to a low and was looking very negative and than rallied up to close slightly lower. A big move after lunch. This is not the norm.

While I primarrily day trade now if I'm trying to put a swing trade on a like to do it early in the day if the PA sets up for me.

Good Trading to all
