Just got 2 pts on an ES trade that looks exactly like Jeff's first YM trade in his last chart, the one after the double top. Took is on a 500 tick chart. On the 4 range the double top isn't visible.
The only difference was that I had a double top in play. It might be safer to have some sort of reversal pattern set up. In this case a lower high would be nice.
I called it a double top, the 2nd top was 2 ticks above but quickly reversed back down. so I figured it was close enough. I didn't post my other timeframes but I had support for a short on the next higher timeframe (1500 tick). Also note the HVC at the first top, showing professionals had went short. Overall it was an almost perfect setup for me.
Big mikes comments about indicators inspired me to start a journal here for a few reasons . The biggest of which being that it seems many of you are like me , traders searching for a way to survive out there in the cruel trading world .
I was thinking about what Cunparis has been talking about.....are far as people posting their "real" trades rather than just theorizing. I think that there is room for both. I don't mind people talking about their set ups..... but it's also nice to see it in action. That means the Ninja entries and exits......no BS.
