I'm not sure the dots print on the close of the bar, I don't know how they work cause I don't use them. In general most indicators will give a signal late. I discuss this in my market cycles thread in the elite forum.
I have the impression that you imply his charts aren't helpful but I find them very helpful for me to know what was humanly possible (assuming Jeff is not a robot). I will never trade exactly like him or anyone else, but I study his charts because it gives me lots of ideas and I learn from them.
I think if everyone trying this approach would post their charts daily, then things would make a lot more sense and Jeff could give some advice. I've gotten feedback like this and it has helped me. Since very few do this if one person does it then I'm sure that person will get a lot of attention. I hope to be posting charts soon.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I think that the BEST learning can come if Jeff as a mentor or a teacher will be able to tell us all " here, right now it makes 1,2,3 or whatever and I take a short/long. Here is my SL and now,have 10 ticks and I close the trade".
Trading in real time, not just marking the charts after day is over will be a lot more helpfull for new traders like us.
BUT, since will newbies will take whatever we can get, I THANK Jeff for all his contribution and help he did, does and will do in making our trading future a positive one.
Holiday trading......not the best. ORB really didn't go anywhere. I used an atm strategy that moved my stop to b/e +1 after +10........so I ended up with +1 three times. Finally got one trade to go +20 which was the target.
I'm am going to take the rest of the holiday off and work on my trading/business plan.
VERY nice 123 but its after the fact. How many bars do you reay need to see closed BEFORE you see this setup ready to get into the trade? When bar # 3 closed, you still do not know that # 4 will end long. You have a break up, take the trade and its closed down..... So if you wait for # 4 to close, its allready to late.
