What else do you propose to monitor, except candles, chart pattern and resistance
Helou .
I' m Fairy, I live abroad, Europian Union. Small sleepy market. We don' t have short selling.
I'm learning how to trade. No one to ask. Elder' s timeframes still confuses me
I see an uptrend, weekly chart, one year period. Choppy one.
One month period and it goes up again.. I'm watching carefully, want to take a profit
How do I set up indicators and oscilators ? RSI, Chaikin, Fast Stockastic - 7 days, 9 days...
What else do you propose to monitor, except the candles and chart pattern and resistance
Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
First of all, thank you.
My market is really small sleepy one, small volumes, 20 " blue chips" stocks, perfaps 20 small caps, a few penny stocks and that's it. We even don't have short selling. So downtrend isn't an option
I trade short time positions, patterns. Or short position after break after a long downtrade.
First I take a look on a three years chart, weekly, sometimes five years monthly and weekly, just to take a look
Than one year chart. daily
Than three months, than one
That's about it. I use Chaikin oscillator for money flow, MACD, EMA ...200.,100, 50, 21, to see where we are
On Teletrader we are not able to change settings for Chaikin. it's default in all timeframes
So far, so good
When the target is in the sight, or fibo line, or major resistance, or when I'd like do add to my postion and looking for an entry point, or thinking about exit, I look at one month chart, 60 minutes or 120 minutes timeframes
I set my indicators -- EMA 7 days, RSI 7 days, Directional system 7 days, Money Flow default.
That's what's bothering me , am I doing it wright ? Am I missimg something ?
Do I have to watch one week chart , smaller timeframes ? And how to set indicators ?
I do pay atention to fibo lines, trend lines, and the appearance of candles
We don't have sofisticated platforms, softweres etc. We do it all in a old fasioned way. Charting
I'm sorry, but even living in croatia you can open a trading account to trade futures. Not to mention you have access to any trading platform you want. That being said, you might find out, you have everything you need right now.
