I thought I would bring this thread back from the dead...
I have been playing around with Sharky's shark band idea of buying breakouts from a support/resistance "zone" or area but I wanted some way to account for volatility... so... take Mikes VMA zones and add multiple overlapping instances. Kinda neat and it works to eliminate some of the whipsaw. Give it a try.

...or you could add the slingshot like in the video to it for direction (and color...hehe).

What inputs are you using for the slingshot indicator and what paint bar study are you using in the 2nd graph?

same as the video 38/62 ema. But you can use whatever you like...

paintbars are one of mine but there are dozens on this site similar. Try one of the ema slope based ones

What generate the white indications in panel one?

zigzag indicator from downloads section...

they repaint... or really they just show up after a few bars - they have to calculate by whatever rules you are using such as highest high in 5 bars etc. The only way to "know" and calculate this is to travel 5 bars and then look back.....make sense? BTW - real time would be "da bomb" also know as "crystal ball". But that indicator does not exist...

later
