I use Tick Charts in NinjaTrader 8 for Forex currency pairs.
I also use the PASPro indicator.

PASPro won't show on a chart for certain combinations of ticks per bar and currencies.

For example, PASPro won't display on a 100-tick chart of the GBPUSD. It will display at 75 ticks per bar, and at 150 ticks per bar. In other words changing the Tick setting on the GBPUSD chart from 100 to something else causes PASPro to appear on the chart.
Sometimes this effect can be changed by modifying the number of days loaded in NinjaTrader, but this is also a problem, as having to load many days when one is displaying short-term charts is slow in both loading and chart calculation.

How can I fix this please?

Thanks for the question. I've created a thread for you here:

Someone will answer shortly.

Is the Elite Member $100 cost. Is that a one time cost or you have to pay every year?

Hello,

Re: Ironbeam w/ CME trading business, 2 questions please:

- do you receive TransferWise trading account deposits?
- what's the total commission and fees for a roundtrip (1 futures contract in and 1 out) for trading MES futures?

Thanks and looking forward,
Liv

Hello friends,

I am trying to download market depth events through Ninjatrader custom code that calls OnMarketDepth event handler. My intention is to carryout offline research to understand dynamics order book by analyzing Add and Cancel order events. I have come across various posts on this forum that employs OnMarketDepth event handler to get market depth data but I could not find any example where number of cancelled volume is calculated. I tried using Operation.Remove option to look for cancelled order but it looks like this option is meant for situation where entire order book level needs to be removed from market depth.

I would appreciate if someone can help me pointing in right direction.

Thank you,
Vaibhav

Hi Mike, it's been a while since I was here. I have been struggling as a trader for five years now and I decided to take a break, and go back to the drawing board and fortunately learned a lot and continue to.
I actively participate in the FX market(day trading) and this year has been good coz now I understand how FX moves and what to look out for - I mean in terms of fundamentals and sentiment and I have been using this approach quite well, that is I get to have winning trades which I actually understand why they worked and losing trades which I also understand why they didn't. I have been doing this on demo but regardless of this I am still not profitable overall and I think my risk management is a bit off. I was wondering whether I can send you my trading report/statement so that u or anyone who's experienced can have a look and advice accordingly. I intend to join a prop once I tackle the current challenge.

Thank you!
Regards, Dennis

Hi @Liv Pro,

Thanks for posting.

The best thread for your question is the Ironbeam Director of Trading Ask Me Anything thread, here:

If you repost in that thread, you should receive your answer soon.

Bob.

--------------

Update: @Liv Pro, I copied your post into the Ironbeam thread, but it went in with the original date, and I was concerned that Ironbeam might not see it because of the dates. So I quoted it to give it a bump up to the current date:

I expect that Ironbeam will now be aware of your questions, and I hope they will be able to give a response.
