Interesting. I happened on this site which has a bunch of free trading systems and indicators posted for forex.
Particulary for Metatrader 4.

This could be a good resource for new traders to sim trade and try out various systems. Of course , spend
a long while in sim and cover many scenarios of price action and varying volatility. And also one could start out small if live using Forex and get used to MT4 as a generic trading platform.

You can download MT4 free at OANDA - Forex Trading and Exchange Rates Services | OANDA and use their sim server indefinitely.
