I feel I am best at targets/destinations for ES during the trading session. I use pivots and primarily floor traders and DeMarks for daytrades

I feel like I am good at wiping my tears away myself now when a trade goes bad!

I'm not really good at any of the above mentioned.Come to think of it I've never really thought about this.lol

I'm a typical anxious guy though, so if I had to put in one thing here is that I'm pretty good at getting sweaty hands and either not entering in trades unless I'm really feeling lucky or getting out before risk gets large enough to give me small heart attack.

I picked other too. I used to cut losers early but they would then turn around and become winners. I now have one rule that must be always adhered to and that is let your stop loss get hit to prove your setup and idea is wrong. So that is my initial focus now and I'm getting good at it. It happens a lot.

That was my biggest problem starting out. I would let my stop get hit on losers and get out too early on winners. I experienced this enough that it drove me crazy, so I made it a rule to always adhere to my stop losses. Now I don't even worry about it, because it's second nature for me to let trades lose or win.. It's wonderful looking back on this and actually seeing the change. My challenge now is holding on for 3R+ winners. Really, it's a matter of remaining calm, which is hard sometimes.

There's nothing to think about.

This is one of the hardest things to do, I still can't. I blame it on my anxiousness but yeah, lack of discipline and like you said it needs to be second nature. Its nice that you can pull it off though

I use to be really good at blowing up accounts. Getting better now at keeping the money in the bank.

Haha blame it on yourself! It's a matter of how long you're willing to tolerate your own BS. Not that this would help you, but it really helped me.. I made it a rule that right after entering a trade, I had to walk away and stay away for at least 10 minutes. I had a fixed stop loss and profit target so this was no problem in terms of trade management. Sometimes I would do this, and sometimes I wouldn't, but overtime just doing it enough solidified it. You'll break your rules, but at least you have some that some days you'll end up following.

Also, I know how hard it is to put on a trade and to resist watching it. That's the biggest enemy. I get out of the room immediately after because of this and do something else. Good luck!

There's nothing to think about.
