Those standards include a code of conduct for our members, as well as extremely high standards that govern which partners we do business with, and which products or services we recommend to our members.

At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors – all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.

With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you don’t need to worry about fake reviews.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
  • We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community.  It's free and simple.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

"Too many traders are looking for setups, when in fact they're the ones being set up." by Dr.Brett Steenbarger

A great quote

From the book Market Wizards:

Most people, in most careers, are busy trying to cover up their mistakes. As a trader, you
are forced to confront your mistakes because the numbers don't lie. - Marty Schwartz

Mike, the attachment is from (formerly BMT). As you can see a question mark is needed at
the end of the one-liner.

More quotes now:

Amateurs want to be right. Professionals want to make money.
It's not whether you're right or wrong that's important, but how much money you make when you're right and how much you lose when you're wrong. - George Soros
Trading is not a job where you get paid by the hour.
You get paid for doing the right thing.

Those who have little money, should not speculate
Those without money have to speculate

Please register on to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

Mozzie at White Collar quotes very much wisdom, this one is in my opinion a perfect traders quote:

"You can't direct the wind but you can adjust the sails."

Catch a good trend the way an experienced surfer catches a good wave.

Example of real trading and example of paper trading in attachments.

Your biggest loss is always in the future.

I'm just a simple man trading a simple plan.

My daddy always said, "Every day above ground is a good day!"

Your biggest loss is always in the future.

I hope you mean that as in "Tomorrow never comes." {hee hee}

How about:

Your biggest gain is always in the future. (you're a wise guy Stephen)

Off-topic stuff now:

A decent amount of quotes about 'past' 'present' 'future' are contained
within The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. I really like it.

Be advised it is a spiritual work. Also, since a high level demon is writing to
a lower level demon, the wording is reversed as well. For example:

patient means Christian
Enemy means God
Father means Satan

Also according to the author:

Readers are advised to remember that the devil is a liar. Not everything that
Screwtape says should be assumed to be true even from his own angle.

Did the patient respond to some of your terror-pictures of the future?

We want him to be in the maximum uncertainty, so that his mind will be filled with
contradictory pictures of the future, every one of which arouses hope or fear.

It is far better to make them live in the Future. Biological necessity makes
all their passions point in that direction already, so that thought about the
Future inflames hope and fear. Also, it is unknown to them, so that in making
them think about it we make them think of unrealities.

We want a whole race perpetually in pursuit of the
rainbow's end, never honest, nor kind, nor happy now, but always using as mere
fuel wherewith to heap the altar of the future every real gift which is offered
them in the Present.

And the questions they do ask are, of
course, unanswerable; for they do not know the future, and what the future will
be depends very largely on just those choices which they now invoke the future
to help them to make.

We have trained them to
think of the Future as a promised land which favoured heroes attain—not as
something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever
he does, whoever he is,

Your affectionate uncle
