I am involved in trading and investing for 20 years.
I tried and have done really a lot of stuff:
Stocks, ETFs, Warrants, Forex, Bonds, Futures
Investing, Swing-Trading, Position-DayTrading, Scalping
Classical Charts, Orderflow, a little bit fundamental analysis
On and off I had times when I lost money and when I made money.
But now it seems I finally found a way do be consistently profitable.
I have a profitable strategy on wikifolio.com. I tell not which it is as I do not want to sell something here.
I am only here to learn and to exchange ideas.
After all this year I came to the conclusion that trading is damn hard...I know - it took a while
But better late than never.
There is so much competition that I have to admit, things would be quite easier if I had an army of analysts like all those funds.
Here on the forum, if you spent a lot of time, you find some truth. I always wonder if someone gives away some gold nugget but does not receive any or only a few thanks... That only by the way.
However, on each forum, there is much more crap than useful information. Reading all the stuff and thinking on my own takes too much time. Again, competition is hard. That´s why most people lose. A one man show is not efficient.
That´s why I search for a trading buddy. If he/she does more or less break even with his/her trading that´s fine for me. If the one is profitable - the better of course for me.
I trade NQ, GC, CL. Thanks to the inspiration and advice of @wldman and @LittleFinger I successfully mix in sector ETFs, ETCs and stuff like that lately and broadened my trading horizon from pure scalping to intraday position trading and to some degree to swing trading.
My nature is that I always want to develop and improve. Therefore, I always challenge myself. As some could read from my post I am not necessarily "easy" all the time, as I expect from others the same as what I expect from myself. Sorry about that...
However, I am a very motivated and driven personality. All my colleagues, besides the lazy ones, and all bosses so far found working with me very fruitful.
So, if you also came to the conclusion that you could achieve more in a team and are willing to give and not only take, please let me now.
I would very much like to be of service as I believe only which I can learn more.
Like you I have a very strong team minded believe and I am thankful I stumbled upon this forum in my search into trading MES.
But my journey has just start and I am very new. I want to start off having my foundations right, exploring into Dr. Van T and Dr. Al B materials. I had previously attended some scalp, momentum courses and I am now trying to venture options be it swing or intraday trading.
I do hope that I can find some companion in this journey and help to carry some load as well. Please do pm me or we can keep this thread alive as well.
It appears that you have to post 5 comments before you can PM somebody in this forum... Well, great.
I cannot simply copy/paste, since I wrote in foreign language (ger) and I do not want to translate all my stuff again now.
Anyway, I am interested. Been trading fulltime for a short while now, struggeling here and there of course, trying to get more consistency in my trading and I would like to work with highly-motivated(!) people.
Hit me up with a PM for Skype/Discord or something if you like.
Cheers,
Largo
